Definitely a character development when you see that most of the best moments are his receives and blocks and not just the spikes
How is that a character development. And also receives and blocks are more technical than spike
Hinata is really my favorite Haikyuu character his really a big inspiration to all of us despite being small focus, determination and goal oriented has in him
@@Kefshee all of his highlights used to be spikes only. I also slightly disagree with your statement
@@Kefshee in this season he is not relying on his instincts alone rather he is observing the toss, the approach of the spiker, his positioning, his teammates condition. If that not character development then my friend why are you even watching this show
aahahhaha
That save when he said *got it* and let his teammates breathe again, i cried actually. Hinata is such an amazing character & his character development is really on another level too.
I cry every time. It takes some good writing to make character development like that
Everytimes I want that part , I feel such a big wave of proudness (TT)♡
Me too, everytime I rewatched it.. It's 5 or 6 times and never bored
Same
literal chills
It's Tsukki trusting Hinata to receive the ball for me he was the first one to acknowledge his improvement I just love their relationship it's so inspiring🥺
he sees first hand how hinata tried so hard to learn in the training camp.
Actually, Hinata's reaction to Tsuki's block attempt says it all.. Tsuki wasn't trying to "block", he was trying to funnel the ball.. and he successfully did it against a spiker who can spike at any angle.. which is why Hinata acknowledged that Tsukishima is really good in blocking.. that kind of spiker is really difficult to block and you need a huge knowledge of block reading like that guy from Ushiwaka's team.. but Tsuki successfully funneled the guy to always spike towards a certain direction, thus limiting his ability to deliver the ball anywhere he wants..
@@lmntsgames3848 But receiving his spike is an achievement itself. Tsukishima knew that Hinata was gonna be able to receive the spike because he saw his skills himself.
Definitely. He already saw Hinata's improvement on their training camp then pulled it off completely with him on a match. Tsukki is one very observant guy, definitely the most annoying one on Karasuno
In manga they named it like " Sun and Moon". Absolutely goosebumps
Hinata is the best example of "Great talents bloom late"
For me Hineta is an example of how great talent blooms when it gets the opportunity to learn from other talent. In Junior High he never got the chance to properly learn and train volleyball, but at Karasuno he finaly gets that chance and goes for it full force, and at that point he finally learns what he's capable of
Hinata was mvp this match. I know people will argue Kageyama showed a better performance and I'm not disagreeing, but I believe that even though he performed better, Hinata earned the mvp status because he helped the rest of his team perform at their best. Such as the save against Aran, after they lost that point, everyone was so down and felt like they were going to lose but Hinata just comes in with his high of securing a legit save and bringing everyone out of the shadow of doubt. Also, the save against Suna where Tsukishima was able to put full faith in Hinata which helped Tsukishima become a better blocker in that moment from being able to stop a way of attack for Suna. Not to mention the high first touch that stopped Karasuno from choking themselves with action. Imagine if they lost that point, they would have been devastated but Hinata singlehandedly stopped that from happening. There are also other moments such as the "Give me the next one" and the cross block against Osamu that I could go on about but this comment is already long enough.
yea it made tsukki trust his teammates a little more. Small but great touch
That s it
yea they both did amazing and now I honestly want another season
That s it
That s it of course and more
Atsumu's excitement over Hinata during this match is an excellent setup for their future
True ❤

O-Raiii!
i cry everytime😭
Hinata's growth in last three seasons and season 4 was equal. Ball boy arc was so important for him, he got to learn so much and I'm so proud !!
He's still learning but once he perfects everything other teams are doomed he'll become the actual big big monster
He will become Ninja Shoyo
ninja shoyooo 💗💗
Go read manga HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Ninja Shoyo.
The one thing I love before Hinata's "Oraii (I got it)" is that everyone was going super fast and the screen was beginning to darken. The only time you see Hinata during it is when he goes for the two/three man block.
But after that, you don't see him until he gets the first touch and arches it high enough for his team to take a breather. The fact that Hinata used to solely rely on speed and instincts made his first touch moment even better, because he knows his teammates need time to compose themselves.
hinata is a ray of sunshine in dark and depressing times for his team mates.
what the ost at the moment. oraii
4:08 is probably my favourite hinata-moment... no matter how many times i watch it, i still get teary eyed every time T_T
same 🥲🥲
one of my favourites is right infront in the clip 4:06.
both of them saying shoyo-san
i can't imagine how much more satisfying the MSBY vs Adlers match will be since this alone is already so damn exciting
ikr, watching this already made it hard for me to breathe 〒_〒
@@LinhNguyen-ei4dq cant wait to see the other matches
I'd love to watch that Monsters ball and I hate that we might have to wait 2 years for that.
I want to so more seasons so badly 😩
Then hinata and kageyama had a son▼・ᴥ・▼
Your not the only one. Though the manga I think was already done.
@Riley deadass a whole year is what i heard December 2022
@@talisha1854 let them take time bro we don't wanna see s4 animation quality in s5 .
@Riley i don’t really know when but i know they are for sure making season 5😀
When he got that long pass and says "got it" with that genuine smile and sending the message to his team "let's take it easy", I had the same reaction as Suga. 😭
This match is probably the only time where Hinata performed on his own and helped his team win their match against a powerhouse. (There will be more in the upcoming season which I won't spoil for anyone.)
In previous matches, the only thing Hinata would rely on was spiking all the way through and needed Kageyama to pull that off. But after visiting the Shiratorizawa camp as a ballboy, he learned many things in whatever way he could. That, in return, helped him in the long run. He became a versatile player instead of what he was before. Great character development for him indeed. Which is why I love this series.
Edit: Omg thanks for 430 likes. I never thought an irrelevant comment like this would get any likes.
He never learnt the fundamentals which makes his growth all the more fun to watch. Other than the fact that he has great athletic ability and stamina he had nothing to show for up until he learnt to read players on the court.
@@AchillesSeverus If you didn't watch the Shiratorizawa camp arc, Hinata did learn some fundamentals besides reading the players' intentions.
In previous matches, Hinata had a bad habit of moving around quite a lot and having impatience (he still has it during the spring tournament), which caused him to make glaring mistakes.
Everyone in Karasuno only relied on Hinata to attack whenever Kageyama is in the court. That, in return caused the other members to make up for the mistakes caused by Hinata. But Hinata wasn't having any of it. He knew that he isn't gonna play with the same team who share the same mentality of just letting him attack.
So he tried to do something not suited to his playstyle. In return it made Karasuno appreciate even more than they already did, other teams were starting to see who he really is without Kageyama.
@@ManagerStrife Bruh! I've seen all of Haikyuu 4 times. Even before the Shiratorizawa Camp Arc, Hinata couldn't even receive a ball. All he was good at was with jumping, spiking and stamina. In To The Top he displayed the most basic skills necessary. That is what I mean by lack of fundamentals and growth.
@@AchillesSeverus i've read the whole manga, so now that i think about it, it's terrifying just how fast hinata grows.
i mean like, if you know what's to come after inarizaki, hinata just steamrolls his development like crazy.
and honestly, when it comes down to it, it makes total sense.
he never was exposed to much in junior high, only being exposed to spiking and maybe some decent digs, that's it. but ever since he's been surrounded by talent and his hunger to keep improving, he just accelerates like crazy. obviously that's all hard work bcuz let's face it to master your fundamentals even within a year is tough, let alone 2 months (idk how long it was between the spring high qualifiers and spring high tournament)
alright that's my rant, have a good day
@@The_Jazziest_Coffee isnt it 3-4 months ?
Bcs the qual is in october and the main match is after new year (?)
hinata's first touch which make it possible for his teammates to take a breather tho for a few secs made me so emotional, i ended up crying while watching it. i would empty my bank account just to see that scene for the first time again! im just extremely proud of hinata's growth & achievements sobs

Our little tangerine's improvement is really skyrocketed in this season😍😍.. i can watch this anime for many times.. because i can't really hate all of the characters here
you know Hinata is something else when you realise the crazy attacks he could do for months now, but just now learned to do the most basic move in volleíball: receiving
This match really is the point where Hinata starts to become an excellent player in his own right and not relying on Kageyama to make him a good spiker, Tsukishima to handle the blocks, or Daichi/Noya to handle receiving. Going into Kurasuno, Hainata had all the spirit, but nothing to really show for it except his speed and jump (which couldn’t really do anything if he didn’t have Kageyama or another excellent setter like Oikawa or Atsumu), but with this match, Hinata proved that he could grow and go pro if he kept at it. (Spoilers… he does)
Hinata finally perfects his Receive from Inarazaki's Ace is basically as jaw dropping as his final spike on their match with Shiratoziwa...it did give his Ball Boy Arc justice and finally became a force to be reckoned with more terrifying
Hinata‘s foot just rescuing the match
Seeing Shoyo playing so well makes me so happy, and he was so happy and cute at the end of the game against inatizaki

I'm glad Hinata isn't like super talented from the get go. It's nice to see a character grow from the ground up.

watching sport anime, make me miss the good old time when I was in the tournament of certain sport.. The ecstasy when winning, the adrenaline when it get tense.. damn..
hinata evolved so much that he was called shoyo San by those association clubs guys, shrimpy to hinata to hinata kun to hinata san
Hinata is basically the mvp in this match
Hinata's first ever receive. What a great moment for this little ball of sunshine.
hinatas character development is the best i’ve ever seen in fiction. like the development from his pre time skip to post time skip is is and 😭 im so fucking proud of him he deserves it all
Honestly, when Hinata did that recieve, it gave me chills. I literally cried in that moment because he grew so much.
OMFG I haven't watched Haikyuu in a long time after the last season ended and JESUS CHRIST my eyes are tearing again because of this anime...Everytime Hinata shows character developement or any other character my eyes just get watery...I love this shit so much can't wait for the next season

there's something very satisfying about Nishinoya recognising that Hinata's receiving instincts are getting better, like at 0:49
When he jumped and didn't hit the ball made me laugh so hard! 😆😆
When i watched that air ball/first touch moment in the anime while binge watching this series, I cried triumphantly! In a manly way!!!

I know the manga is already finished but I'm still hoping that they will gonna animate them all until the last arc.
They definitely have the support to, haikyuu is like one of the top rated anime of all time
I want the timeskip to be made into movie.
@@Sku11Ski11 its too long for a movie and id rather it be episodic. plus, there is a certain emotional impact in the chapter titles (i.e. endings and beginnings part 2, the greatest contender part 2, the greatest opponent, the king of the court part 2) that id love to see episodes named after but wont happen in the movie
@@jas8288 what I meant was that the Brazil part to be make into a movie.
My favourite sports anime by far and one of my all tine favourites. Sad about yhr reaminder being squeezed into 2 films but looking forward to them nonetheless
So many epic highlights but the one that got me is when Shoyo received that ball perfectly. Chills.
bro he was the man of the game was for sure
the best animation!!
When hinata won anime male of the year it felt so deserved
When hinata and kageyama blocked the twins quick for the last point i remembered i think season 2 where kageyama said really similar words and then hinata got stuffed by aoba johsai. So i basically knew the twins were getting packed
were you also proud of hinata? dude, i was so proud of him, it reminded me i still have human feelings.
