Saw Aquaman today and can't believe how epic this score sounded during his scenes...
Especially in that gold epic 3rd act of the movie when he retrieves the Trident & claims his throne as the true king of the 7 kingdoms,it's absolutely grand ☺️🐳🐋🌊
I thought they overused the score at some points in the movie, like the one scene where Aquaman is driving his dad home and a huge wave comes. I felt that scene and many more would have been better if they didn't use score.
Also, did you find the song where aquaman is on the submarine. It sounds like a guitar but i can't find it anywhere.

Mad goosebumps from 3:18 on! It’s from the scene where the bullies slam young Arthur against the glass and the shark reacts in anger. The sheer amazement on everyone’s faces when he turns towards them, the reveal of his “sea eyes,” and all the fish gathering around him behind the glass accompanied by the building musical crescendo is nothing short of sheer brilliance! It seems to say, “All ocean life, great and small, have come to recognize the one true king of the seven seas!” This movie is an epic testament to how amazing the Aquaman character really is! I watched the film twice and I’m seriously considering going again!
The score to alot of the D.C. movies are some of the best I've ever heard. The Aquaman and the Man of Steel soundtracks are AWESOME!!!!

Damn, it's so good seeing Rupert finally get into the spotlight he so rightly deserves. He's come a long way from the days of "Over The Hedge" (which is still one of my favourite animated film scores) and seeing him get his big break back with the likes of "Hacksaw Ridge" and then "Wonder Woman" and now "Aquaman" is so exciting. I can't wait to see what he does next. It's been a while since I've started subconsciously nodding my head to a beat in a brand new piece of music, and those pedal notes under the first two chords of Arthur's theme are pure ear-gasm material. RGW knows how to hit the right notes, pun absolutely intended.
I've been a DC fan all these years, and my fave part about DC is their memorable, distinct, unique soundtracks. Awesome to study to.
Unless it's Danny Elfman's Josstice League score.

Elfman gets a bad rap for JL sadly. It was a bad soundtrack but the reason for that is they brought him on so late he didn't have enough time to do it Justice. Pun intended.

Loved the movie and the score! Rupert has done incredible work on Wonder Woman and Aquaman. When 2:35 - 3:15 played during exhilirating ship chase, I was in awe with what I saw and listened in the theater. Everything was on point!

I swear the opening early made me cry when the climax of the music peaked alongside all the Sea life behind Arthur almost like they're ready to heed his every command and finally shifts to the title.
Rarely do openings have that impact on me, Aquaman did not disappoint.
Even this soundtrack alone is far more memorable and beat the shit out of that garbage Elfman put on JL.
I complained about it when they showed one clip with his score before JL release the trailer music for the second trailer kicked the shit out of any elfman score just because he scored batman decades ago doesn't mean it was good

@@HM-wn2in, imagine actually believing in what you just said... Kiddo, Elfman wrote the most unique score for a superhero ever done for a superhero movie most people didn't even like. His score for the Hulk deserved to get nominated for Best Score.
@@antona.1327 Elfman was relevant in the 90s and early 2000s , not anymore , his tracks are pretty old school and relies on Nostalgia , unlike Zimmer and Djawadi , Elfmann doesn't like improving and hence his tracks suck in modern aspects.

Another big win for Rupert, DC, and Warner Brothers! Wonder Woman and Justice League had my top two scores for last year, and BvS and Man of Steel were at the top for their respective years (haven't listened to the score for Suicide Squad, only the soundtrack), so I was really praying this one would be good. Thanks for not letting me down! Can't wait to see the film and hear the rest of this already grand score.
Suicide squad has some pretty great original music. Task force x in particular is amazing
