Is that the Finnish way of putting a fish to sleep? Reach in through the gill and basically take the head halfway off lol? I’d hate to see what happens to a reindeer or something 😂 absolutely LOVE this channel. I’m always looking for multiple night getaway bushcraft vids and you do not disappoint! I’m also so pleased to see you constantly upgrading the camp. Wonderful to see because it allows me to live vicariously through you mate. My walking around disappearing into the woods with just my backpack are sadly over but I get to tag along with you. I’m honored

Finnish nature is really beautiful. I love the nature of my country Germany too but whenever I visited Finland it just felt so special and free.

Yes! The pillow, what a difference a small pillow can make =) And I just can't get over how beautiful the land and wildlife are right outside your front door. Shelters looking great and that clay looks crazy hard to shape.

Love your videos and I have found them therapeutic as I'm recovering from surgery so I can't get out much for almost 6 weeks now. Great survival skills and it's good to share such wisdom with this world of cell phones and fast food eating 💜 I'm curious though don't those rocks hurt your feet?

You start your video with clay mixing with your feet, and me with a foot fetish.
When you make your slabs, use some of that plastic under when pounding, use as a release mechanism, so it doesn't stick to the rock. Thanks for the delightful video, the scenery was top notch. Love ya. A friend.

Do you ever worry about someone coming there and messing with your shelter when you are gone?
No. It would not be a problem. I know I'll have to clear it at some point anyway. Or the winter might also take it down. This is borderline legal to build such shelters on public lands. I do it anyway.

I barefoot on purpose. It's great. Just gotta make sure there aren't sharp rocks or glass.
@@AgeofTheNorth I used to do it a lot as well. I never crossed a stream or a river with my boots and socks on. Takes a long time to dry out, and you could end up deforming the boot from your hard achieved perfection. So enjoyable to watch someone doing the things I did in the days before tiny cameras, laptops, batttery chargers, and the internet. Me falling from a submerged causeway, boots around my neck, H-frame backback with tent and full medical kit, into a lake, and sinking to the bottom. Hot day out there so I didn't mind the coolness. Someone came down, went back up and brought a rope down, tied me on and pulled me out. That would be an adventure to watch.
