I bet you do too buddy. Great job!
Clever,haha
Fantastic comment!

Not much difference between those genre's of covers from up here. But we'll make it all synth!
What have definitions ever gotten us?!
If we ever get an Ace Combat about the Strangereal Cold War in the 80s, the soundtrack better sound like this.
The closest you can have to that is the Skies Untold mod for Ace Combat 7 (PC)
I think Zero and Unsung War is during the Osean-Yukobanian Cold War.
@@mr.h1083 No, Zero is set in the Belkan War of 1995, AC5 is set in the 2010 Circum-Pacific war.
Both of which are after the end of the cold war.
There are no third world and asian countries in Strangereal, AFAIK. So I find it unlikely that there was a Vietnam or other big proxy wars for us to see in lenght. Plus, I wonder how many fans would like a game without 4th gen fighters. Trying to go "Actually, Belka had the Falken and other experimental craft already in 1970" isn't gonna be easy either, much less creating giant aircraft for us to blow up.
Plus, Japan is still very much under US influence and the pacts signed to destroy any communist movement in Japan, even worker unions, something that they even signed deals with the Yakuza to guarantee it, so I doubt it would be anything less than Yuktobanians eating children to represent how much Japanese media hates the USSR. Even if they toned down the propaganda we would only get Yuktobania getting owned by capitalist Osea in an one sided fight.
Still, with all that said, I would LOVE to play as an Yuktobanian or other non Osean aligned country, maybe a Belkan or Erusean. Osea is always portrayed as a Mary Sue, even if they show "some bad apples". But once you think about it, they are the ones with the most resources, technology, experienced pilots and they keep expanding. Having a game in the future is going to mean clash with AC3's plot too, so having a game in the past fighting Osea would be really cool.
@@LuizAlexPhoenix first of all that's not entirely true, we've only been exposed to like, 10% of the countries in Strangereal and even the ones we do know have huge gaps in their history, there are plenty of countries that could be proxies, and we don't know that the Strangereal Cold War even involved proxy wars in the same way the real cold war did.
And I don't know that PA would do that to the Yukes, Ace Combat has an incredible history of three dimensional politics, the closest to a clear cut "bad guy" was Belka in AC0/5 and even they were depicted somewhat favorably thru characters like Pops.
Clearly if you're going to do a parallel to the real cold war, you need to have some bad dudes on both sides, but that doesn't mean Yuktobania has to be "evil" (it also doesn't mean Osea needs to be either)
The whole point of Strangereal is to avoid real world politics without ignoring important political _issues._ So I would hope that PA would be above demonizing a fictional country of their own creation for the sake of demonizing a historical enemy of Japan.
I mean, has Ace Combat ever really had a nationalist leaning? It's seems to me, if anything, PA has been pretty anti-nationalist historically.
I do agree though that it would be nice to play as the "bad guy" for once, seeing as typically the bad guys in Ace Combat are a lot more interesting than the "good guys"

I was really, REALLY hesitant about this one at first, because Zero is just such a high bar to aim for, but... damn, you killed it!
Do you think Liberation of Gracemaria would ever be in the cards? That'd be my vote for the next AC remix!
Ahahaha I was as hesitant as you! A lot of people requested this song and I was like "ok, i'll 100/100 butcher zero". I'm glad you like it!
@@SyntheticMind1984You did really well and I've recently gotten into more synth music and this absolutely has made my life
@@SyntheticMind1984 You can't butcher it with those chord progressions. The 80s were packed full of them. The high bar was the guitar. Congratulations. :D But... After all that... Still alive?

Omg that was great.
2:58 Oh my god the slower more deliberate notes in your version totally change the feel of the song. The original feels heroic and action packed, like its cheering on Cipher. This feels like Cipher's already won and is on his way back to base. I love it! Great work dude!
Inb4 Liberation of Synthmeria.
This sounds like TOP GUN
Either TOP GUN or IRON EAGLE
Synthetic Lord... So Nemo lol?
He really do played sinth's and nailed it, like a true ace.
Zero it's one of my favourite songs from AC Series, and you did a really great job on that song, keep going like that... always cheering for you and your success 'n work
You and I are opposite keys of the same keyboard.
When we're played together, we can finally hear our true melody.
There may be a resemblance, but we never play the same note.

When "aviator" isn't only your job but also what you're wearing while dodging small nukes and lasers.
This fight isn't already 80s enough, we need neons and a dark purple sunset.
Zero is one of my favorite tracks in music and I adore how each cover adds its own unique feeling to it while still maintaining the core emotions.
Great job dude! Such a good remix!

Reminds me of the DCS F-14 OST. Makes me want a cover of "Magic Spear" or "Fire Youngman", or if you wanted to really go old "If the Sky is Burnin' Out!".
Aww yes! I was hoping this one would come soon.
1:02 Ace Combat Zero, but Cipher has an F-14 and Pixy has a "Mig-28" XD
I still hear that spanish guitar during those first vocals
Honestly man, I would love to just have all of the AC OSTs redone like this. They are absolutely fantastic and keep up the awesome work.
Also, curiosity question: which Ace Combat is your favorite since you have been doing the OSTs for them?

please do near the border next. If you can pull off zero this well, id love to hear what it sounds like.
the true definition of " *unspanishes your guitar* "
I saw that in a comment you were thinking that by making this remix, you’ll butcher Zero, well no you didn’t but I feel like in the beginning of the song I can feel that you’re not really sure of the path to take with the notes and the rhythm, and the more we move on in the song, the more you are confident, making it a really beautiful piece of art.
It’s honestly a very nice synthwave remix
"In the distant future of 1995"
"This twisted beat needs to be pitch shifted. Set everything back to zero... that's what V2 is for."
I strongly believe that synthwave can't sound bad. No matter what. And this proves me right.

It's called an Orgasm, guy. Everyone has them, it's perfectly normal.
I need this as a download!
Like holy fuck man, this actually brings me joy to listen to. How have I not heard of this until a random UA-cam recommendation brought me here?
You know, I haven't heard a cover of "Chandelier" From Ace Combat 6. You think you could put a post-apoc/Cyberpunk feel to that song? I still don't get why you're not more popular. Great work.
Would love that
The whole AC6 soundtrack tends to get overlooked for Liberation of Gracemeria... Don't get me wrong, I love Liberation of Gracemeria, it's probably the reason why I listen to AC music this much now, but you already mentioned Chandelier, plus there's the _other_ theme for that game - Wartime Evacuation and the AC6 Main Theme... And there were plenty of other bangers in that game like The Dead Sea or Anea Landing.
Sure the soundtrack wasn't _as_ amazing as the holy trinity PS2 games, but it deserves more attention than it gets.
@@trainknut You're right, man. AC6 had some absolute emotive pieces right beside some bangers- but everyone remembers 'Lib. Of Gracemeria'- same thing with Ace Combat Zero- great soundtrack, but everyone remembers 'Zero'.
@@mokomothman5713 Thankfully AC7 didn't seem to have that problem, Daredevil got the overwhelming amount of views, but generally it seems like the whole soundtrack is getting the attention it deserves. Same with AC5, although I suspect the fact that the story for that game was so memorable has something to do with it.
this is amazing great stuff :)))
This is what V2 was for!
would love to hear what reprisal from AC5 sounds like or even Mayhem from AC0
I was really hoping for this to come, and as I expected it's absolutely awesome
