  • During IDEX 2021, the International Land Defense Exhibition, ADASI and Halcon-UAE (United Arab Emirates) based company, subdivisions of EDGE, have unveiled new technology of loitering ammunition using drone UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) armed with SMART bombs.
The QX series is a family of loitering ammunitions that includes four products, QX-1, a micro-UAV, QX-2, a mini-UAV, QX-3, a small UAV, and QX-4, which features an impressive vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing. The precision-guided systems use sophisticated AI algorithms to target and strike, boasting an accuracy of 1 m CEP (circular error probable) - with an aim similar to laser-guided munitions. Built to launch in any environment or terrain, the entire QX family of UAVs are lightweight, man-portable, and comprise VTOL capabilities.
The second range of loitering munitions consists of Shadow 50 and Shadow 25. As the name implies, Shadow 50 can carry a payload of 50kg - exactly double its counterpart. Shadow 25 is a high-speed system equipped with a jet engine and boasts a short reaction time. Delivering high precision strikes against fixed targets and advanced guidance capabilities, these UAVs leverage Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and can fly using video navigation systems in GPS denied environment.

instead of just loitering munitions a 38% - 45% larger sized HALCON Shadow 50 could do well as a reconnaissance & surveillance drone equipped with retractable front & rear wheeled landing gears & armed (retrofitted underwing hard points) with six GBU-24 Paveway III guided munitions or two AGM-158B JASSM-ER air-to-surface land attack cruise missiles or three AGM-88E AARGM (Block III) anti-radiation missiles . . .

Serbia bought RW24 Halcon loitering ammo for 200 million $. And as i understand that's a lot them. Fun fact. Serbian company and engineers was was main designers of that drone. By state was obviously not interested to fund the project but UAE was. Now we buy UAE product. Ridiculous.

It also can carry a human suicide bomber on its payload, so no UAVs will be harmed..

RW24 is smaller and faster than Iranian Shahed. And Shahed made serious damage. So that's enough of an answer.
