How do I manage the extra fabric under my armpit? I feel like there is extra under my arm (like the wrap is very wide for my body) I am a more petite person should that matter?

I got a ring sling because i thought it would be easier for me than the wrap, but i feel so discouraged..My 4 month old daughter it always feels like i get it wrong i have trouble with the deep seat and she feels crooked on me ugh
The fabric keeps digging in to back of my sons knees.
Is the fabric bunching up behind his knees? Like maybe pulling some of that extra fabric up his back might help!
