A lot of new cars don’t come with spare wheels anymore, mine comes with a quick repair kit thing instead which is annoying because I feel a spare wheel is probably safer 😂😂 x
Charlie Nailed It . Mine didn’t come with spare wheel either 🙈 I have juke has space for one but mine to came with a quick repair kit would prefer a wheel 🙈😂
I know how hard it is but the best tip to not stall is over compensate on the accelerator, until you get it. Just set your gas & then start rising your foot on the clutch till you move. that’s how I got used to mine❤️
Rebecca French I second this, I went from driving a diesel to a petrol and now switch between a diesel and a petrol whilst I’m still learning and honestly just keep your revs up on the accelerator and you’ll be okay x
I know this might sound silly but try to over rev your car rather than trying to find the bite point for now. It may affect your petrol usage a slight amount but I did this when I first started driving and it helped my confidence so much because I stopped stalling.
i passed my test last october and bought my car in january and i hadn't stalled for MONTHS until the other day when i was reversing and suddenly stalled! you get so much less annoyed at yourself when you don't stall often because sometimes is just happens, but it's sooo nice when you fully get used to your car and you can just take off without even thinking about it!!
In a petrol car you need to put more pressure on the accelerator when pulling away. So gas then clutch, then you won’t stall! It’s so normal to stall especially when you’re a new driver and adjusting to a new car. You’ll get there! Don’t be disheartened or embarrassed it’s so normal xxxx
I was just like you with stalling in the beginning. Both of my brothers are car-racers etc, and they sat me on a not so busy road, where i started and stopped all the way between every 20 meters. That teached me all about my cars clutch and speeder/footwork when i start my car. You just have to learn it that way, and believe me, it works!
The 'secret compartment' you mentioned in the boot of the car is for your spare wheel which you should really have. I mean it's not a legal requirement but it's safer to have an extra wheel just in case something happens or you find a puncture in your current tyre. Your car is beautiful and I bet that cost a bomb to insure!! Which insurance company did you end up going with and did you get a black box??xx
Give it more welly when you go to move off, bring clutch up slowly, you won't stall as much, I tend to stall perhaps a few times a year in the 6 years I've been driving, of course most of these times were as a learner. I tend to find people stall when they try to pull away quickly, doing too much at once so as not to have the car behind beep them... best to prepare well in advance before you move off, so when you go all you need to do is release the handbrake and slowly bring the clutch up whilst giving it between 1,500 and 2,000rpm.
Go to a quiet car park and spend an hour getting the car to biting point and pulling away - you'd be so surprised how much spending a little quality time learning your car would help with stalling! Congrats on passing love you lots
I know it's a bit late, but the reason you're stalling the petrol is because you essentially haven't got enough 'umph' to pull off. The reason you can just use the clutch to pull off with a diesel is because of the high torque of diesels. So... what you need to do is accelerate as you're pulling away.
Yes babe! I’ve not passed my test yet but have just been out and bought my first car... a blue Nissan Juke and I’m in love❤️ I’m so happy to hear that it’s not jut me having trouble with stalling!!! We’ll get there, GOOD LUCK 😉
ahh honestly i’m genuinely so happy that you finally got your dream car i’m well excited for the drive with me vlogs so proud of you, you deserve it hun
babe my mums been driving since t she was 16 and know she is 27 i think so that is 11 years and she still sores the car so don't worry about it you will get out of it before you know it love you xx
Do you have “P” plates on. You really need to especially if your struggling with bitting point and stalling just so other drivers can be aware and alert that your a new driver.
FiftyDots exactly! I had them on and they were more lenient and had a tendency to keep their distance and gave me room. It’s so important if you stall someone could go into the back of you. Until she’s used to the car she needs to have P plates for her own safety and other drivers.
I had a juke. Look after the paintwork especially around the wheels! Keep service history up on it. We had a hard time selling it down the line this year x enjoy ❤️
I had the same issue, you just need to push more on the gas pedal, more than you think and as long as you control the speed at which your foot comes of the clutch you will have full control and won't stall.
I’m so jealous lol, I passed my test over a year ago and it’s still gunna take me about another 2 years to save up for a car and it’ll be nowhere near as fancy as that 😂🙃 well done tho girl! Enjoy it 🎉
That was literally me for the first week or so! I learnt in a diesel and now I also drive a Nissan petrol! You’ll get the hang of it 100% I’ve been driving around 2 months now and I can’t even remember the last time I stalled💜
Might be worth getting another driving lesson with your new car!! I did that 😁😁 Great video, congrats on getting your new car with your hard earned money , respect!
Emily Featherstome absolutely not, only takes a day to get used to a new clutch and stuff if your a decent driver, just a waste of money getting extra lessons when you are already legal to drive!
Well done you. Nothing more exciting than earning your own money and getting your own things. It's such a buzz. Never seen your car on the road but it's lovely inside n out. Drive it safely and enjoy hun. So so happy for you.XX
Anna you should press the gas a little bit before trying to find the bite-point.In petrol card you’ll need to lift you clutch half way and your car will dip until you reach at least 5 mph do let go of the clutch or you’ll stall
this is exciting! I just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv and filmed videos on it on my channel. i'm a toyota person but i dropped the gun too fast at the dealership ship and this is what i ended up leaving the lot with, lol but I love my car and I’m enjoying it so far. I looveee watching these types of videos!!!
I learnt in a 1.6 diesel and now I drive a 1 litre Petrol !!! I stalled so much snd it really put me of but I went and drove around somewhere that was quite snd practiced taking of it made it a lot easier!!! If you do that snd know where you need to accelerate too on your revs it will help you a lot
I’ve only been driving for a couple of weeks and I feel you! I cannot stop stalling either! 😂 I’ve now got P plates which I feel have helped as some drivers will leave me more room! Most drivers are courteous luckily however I’ve certainly encountered a few aggressive drivers so far! You’re doing amazingly and day by day I’m sure you’ll notice an improvement in your driving, I did even though it was gradual! Now, even looking back to when I first drove my car home, I’ve come a long way in just a few weeks! I remember from your vlog when you went to Halfords that you mentioned how you were pleased that you were stalling less that day than the first day that you drove your car so well done my lovely! Xx😃
all the movies you named were amazing & safe is defiantly worth a watch!! It starts off a little weird and the freezer part creeped me out for life (you'll understand what I mean) but apart from that, it's really really good! ❤️
Hi Ana I love you so much and I am so happy for you in so many ways! The main two is congrats on 500K and congrats on passing your driving test. Love you ❤️❤️
I hear what you’re saying about stalling, that’s why I learnt in an automatic. I kept stalling in manual and once you pass people get really impatient on the roads. 😬. Love love love the car though! See what you mean about it being ‘sporty’, the front is really nice. ❤️
Whilst you’re getting used to the car, wear the same shoes every time you drive, as the pedals will feel different in different pairs of shoes. It just means that you will be able to feel your biting point and get used to it. I found converse the easiest to drive in when I first passed 😘
I was the same, its completely normal, I learnt in a Mini Cooper and now have a Fiat 500 and when I first got it I stalled a tone but took my few days and I was well away and used to it!! just takes time and practice babe!!x
I don't want to be negative because I'm so excited for u too xx My mum had bad problems with her car and loads of people have the issue to no hate love u Anna x
‘I’m gonna keep my car very very clean’ we all said that at one point smh🤷🏻♀️
Siddrah Mb she did tho
I actually do keep my car very clean. I wash it every week no matter how busy I am.
Loved Aticus in your main channel video he was so sweet, you deserve that licence and car so so much x ❤️
Secret compartment? Girl that’s where your spare wheel is meant to go 😂😂😂
mollie Xo that’s my first thought hahahaah
The spare wheel goes under that “secret compartment”.. 😀
It doesn’t even have a spare wheel, doesn’t matter anyway. Imagine a girl knowing how to change her wheels 😂😂😂
Rebecca French yeah but if you’re uphill it’s not gonna work lol
I know this might sound silly but try to over rev your car rather than trying to find the bite point for now. It may affect your petrol usage a slight amount but I did this when I first started driving and it helped my confidence so much because I stopped stalling.
Carpools need to happen!💘
Anastasiak_xo On ig x yep defo

Love your photo
YES QUEEN! CAR TOURS/ DWM’s are the best!🙌
Anna, I’m pretty sure that’s not a secret compartment and that it is actually for a spare tire and other bits like to check tire pressure etc! Xxx
i passed my test last october and bought my car in january and i hadn't stalled for MONTHS until the other day when i was reversing and suddenly stalled! you get so much less annoyed at yourself when you don't stall often because sometimes is just happens, but it's sooo nice when you fully get used to your car and you can just take off without even thinking about it!!

Do a drive with me with your mum or amber! Xxxx

The wheel actually goes under the car, I worked on one of these and thought where the wheel was after I looked in the boot
@@fudu1788 it's different for different country variants

Well done Anastasia you have every right to be proud of yourself, to accomplish this at a young age is amazing ! You go girl xxx

Does this mean you will drive to saffs or get the train as normal ?xx
Do you have “P” plates on. You really need to especially if your struggling with bitting point and stalling just so other drivers can be aware and alert that your a new driver.
P Plates just make other drivers get even more annoyed at you and question how you passed your test lol better not to have them!
Bryony King I was fine, but some people have different experiences but just while she’s stalling and things this much she needs to.
FiftyDots why is it?!
FiftyDots exactly! I had them on and they were more lenient and had a tendency to keep their distance and gave me room. It’s so important if you stall someone could go into the back of you. Until she’s used to the car she needs to have P plates for her own safety and other drivers.
I’ve never heard of P plates. Just R and L
