Caitlin is a game manager. She elevates the point guard position to a higher level. It's not usual to see a point guard score like that and still have that many assists. Her assists are what impress me as much as anything. She is always looking for the best chance to score and to involve her teammates. That is what makes her so great.

She assisted 12 times, and threw the ball away 7 other times. Are you morons sworn to secrecy to never reveal her more than obvious faults along with her talents. If they called travelling in this league (Clark is not alone, they all travel), she would have another 7 turnovers, making 14 turnovers to 12 assists. Most anyone in the NBA could do the same, if they constantly hogged the ball, whether shooting, passing or throwing the ball away. So will you all be lining up to kiss her ass before the game later today? Because, almost without exception, that is exactly what you all do in these social media comments.

Clark plays nothing like Bird -- who was a wing and post up player, not a point guard. She plays like Steph Curry and Steve Nash if you need comparisons.
Her shot doesn't look like Bird's, she doesn't have a back-to-the-basket game, none of their talents really match except both good shooters and passers. And white people, which is not a good reason to compare players.😂
Larry a better defender and WAY MORE PHYSICAL as a rebounder. Her ability to hit 3 pointers on the move is something you see with Steph and to some extent Nash. Great passer like Nash and she's actually a better passer than Steph.

    • @seekrengr751
      @seekrengr751 10 днів тому

Stupid? Hardly, at this stage in their careers there are a lot of parallels. Bird led Indiana State to the NCAA championship game, where they lost to Magic Johnson's Michigan State team. Similarly, CC led Iowa to the NCAA championship game (twice) both times losing to teams with better supporting players than Clark had, just like Bird's team.
Both Bird and CC were/are good long-range shooters and amazing passers. Bird was much bigger and more physical than CC even relative to other players in the league; she'll never be pushing people around like he did, especially on defense or rebounding (she rebounds well for a guard, though).
On defense, CC is doing pretty well with steals (1.4/g) and actually has a higher blocks avg than the taller Angel Reese (0.8/g to 0.5/g) so the supposed "weak defense" criticism doesn't hold up with the numbers.
If there is ONE player to compare her to, Bird isn't a bad choice. No fair saying "oh, shoots like Curry, passes like Stockton, etc....)

The women on the fever are so likable. There’s no thug behavior in any of the interviews I’ve seen. They are competitive females that play with class and integrity. Unlike some of the bully females that throw all types of fouls especially at Caitlin Clark. Having a feminine quality as a female is very attractive. Combine that with talent and you have a team that people love. Clark is the reason I started watching and those thugs need to get over it if they want a better league. If not, I’m out and many men will quit watching too

I can say , Im impress to see a lady play basketball like a professional athlete with talent that superseed the entire WNBA players. No poletics, no victim mentalaty just play. If she is not protected from the haters and gets even more lethal. She could be the Michael Jordan for WNBA.

    •  12 днів тому

I'm. impressed. supercede. politics. mentality. Random periods. And there is only one Michael Jordan. Why can she not just be the first Caitlan Clark? And why can you not get an education?

It's hard to teach old dog's new tricks . But when the new dog keeps getting to the treat first , they'll figure it out. Guarding the doggy bowl leaves the hole floor opened up to receive treat's at both ends of the floor. Reese , Quit camping out under the net. Nobody is putting treat's in the food bowl , you have to get after it and earn them.

Watching Fever games is a very entertaining. Either Win or Loss. Catlin Clark is the glue that holds the team together to play each night when they play with so much team work. CC is the catalyst that makes the engine moves so smoothly for everybody in the team and its fun to watch.
She has the balance of scoring when open and dish out to open teammates to have a better percentage in the basket in order to win. The biggest challenge for CC is the jealousy of other WNBA superstar on her achievements resulting into dirty tactics to stop HER. Other legendary retired WNBA players are trying to discredit her due to her rising popularity in the league becoming to be a most adorable player reason why indorsements are flooding offers for her. Catlin Clark is a good thing that happen in the WNBA sport and to the league itself.
People interest are coming back to watch WNBA games which an indications that the sport is coming to life with fun and amazing.

Boston is a huge part of the formula for the inside-out and pick and roll strategy. And Hull, Samuelson and Smith are always productive. Clark and Mitchell do a lot of scoring, but they are a good team overall.

The Fever started the season with a 1-8 record which means they've been on a 16-8 tear (.666) the remaining part of the season. They are still a relatively young team, but that that's a championship level percentage in almost any professional league.

    •  12 днів тому

Decent, .667 for part of a season. While NY Liberty have played at a .818 clip the entire season. If they didn't allow so many teams in the playoffs, (8 out of 12 teams - 66.7% of the league), they may not even make the playoffs. There is a team right now that would still make the playoffs with an 11-22 record at this point, .333. In a 12 team league, there should only be 4 playoff teams.
