I'm coming up on year 2 of living without her and this song reminds me that he didn't "take her from me" and that he knows I'm hurting and he loves me through every moment of anger, sadness, and frustration. I lost my mom over 3 years ago while studying in the U.S, I lost my grandma 6 weeks before that, my then spouse filled for divorce 2 months later taking my son with her, I suffered from high blood pressure, chronic migraines, and I had to relocate to another city. Thereafter, my professor told me she’s not interested in working with me to complete my PhD because she thinks I am not meeting expectations. In the process, I had lost and was loosing everything including my mom, my grandmother, my son, my then spouse, my immigration to the U.S, my job, my health, and my doctoral degree, but He’s being my God through all of it. I have won, I have lost , life’s been a journey, and you have been my God through all of it. Never give up and keep going!

I really like this song. A few weeks ago my wife and I both had covid. Thankfully we didn't have it as bad as many others have but nonetheless I was worried that our symptoms would get worse. I didn't want anything to happen to her and I wanted to be able stay healthy enough to care for my family. One night during the quarantine my wife was asleep and I was still up doing some stuff trying to keep active. As I was moving around the lyric from this song " you have been my God through all of this" came into my head. It was weird because I'd only heard the song a couple times and it wasn't a song I often sang to myself. So I think it was God saying I'm here for you through all of this.

I recently lost a coworker to an ambulance accident. It was the worst pain I have ever felt. I wanted nothing. The 5th day I couldn't take it, I reached out weak, hurting, crying to Jesus and said take over, Im yours. Immediately everything lifted, and it felt so good. He never left me at all. He was simply waiting for me to reach out. Like Peter in the storm when he walked put to Jesus and fell in for lack of faith and Jesus picked him up. Thats the same for me. He literally saved me, I was done with everything. He is amazing! Praise Jesus
I came from a week of vacation with my kids and I reflect on the things I saw for that week as I was listening to songs on FM 88.9 Calgary while driving my kids the following morning. Wonderful things we experince in vacation trips and complaining was easy to do on simple things i.e. wrong beverage, 4 hrs of crying child in the plane, etc. But soon as we arrived back home our flight arived late and we ended up taking public bus and train (and one of my sons wanted to show us how he understands ctrains and bus routes, so we went with the idea of taking the bus and train at night). As we commute in the -9°C weather, we saw homeless people everywhere, sleeping on the inside the station wall, hanging out in group, and rummaging the garbage. But I also saw people handing out money, I saw a decent young guy sharing stories with an elderly who was holding her life belongings in a bag, smiles from night commuters. I hope my kids would have seen through this experience that whatever happens in life, God would be with us through all of this, as the song says.

I'm 16 and I lost my mom to cancer 3 months ago. Many people around me, including my father have been telling me to stay strong and look out for my little sisters (one is 10 while the other is 6), since I'm the oldest girl in the house now (I have 2 older brothers). Listening to this made me feel so relieved. I thank God for helping me feel peace in times like these🙏🙏.

I lost my mom over 3 years ago while studying in the U.S, I lost my grandma 6 weeks before that, my then spouse filled for divorce 2 months later taking my son with her, I suffered from high blood pressure, chronic migraines, and I had to relocate to another city. Thereafter, my professor told me she’s not interested in working with me to complete my PhD because she thinks I am not meeting expectations. In the process, I had lost and was loosing everything including my mom, my grandmother, my son, my then spouse, my immigration to the U.S, my job, my health, and my doctoral degree, but He’s being my God through all of it. I have won, I have lost , life’s been a journey, and you have been my God through all of it. Never give up and keep going!

I really like this song. A few weeks ago my wife and I both had covid. Thankfully we didn't have it as bad as many others have but nonetheless I was worried that our symptoms would get worse. I didn't want anything to happen to her and I wanted to be able stay healthy enough to care for my family. One night during the quarantine my wife was asleep and I was still up doing some stuff trying to keep active. As I was moving around the lyric from this song " you have been my God through all of this" came into my head. It was weird because I'd only heard the song a couple times and it wasn't a song I often sang to myself. So I think it was God saying I'm here for you through all of this.
I love this song because it reminds us that at times our flesh may get the best of us but no matter what God is always there for us. Good times or bad times he's always there waiting to embrace us with open arms.

I recently lost a coworker to an ambulance accident. It was the worst pain I have ever felt. I wanted nothing. The 5th day I couldn't take it, I reached out weak, hurting, crying to Jesus and said take over, Im yours. Immediately everything lifted, and it felt so good. He never left me at all. He was simply waiting for me to reach out. Like Peter in the storm when he walked put to Jesus and fell in for lack of faith and Jesus picked him up. Thats the same for me. He literally saved me, I was done with everything. He is amazing! Praise Jesus

I came from a week of vacation with my kids and I reflect on the things I saw for that week as I was listening to songs on FM 88.9 Calgary while driving my kids the following morning. Wonderful things we experince in vacation trips and complaining was easy to do on simple things i.e. wrong beverage, 4 hrs of crying child in the plane, etc. But soon as we arrived back home our flight arived late and we ended up taking public bus and train (and one of my sons wanted to show us how he understands ctrains and bus routes, so we went with the idea of taking the bus and train at night). As we commute in the -9°C weather, we saw homeless people everywhere, sleeping on the inside the station wall, hanging out in group, and rummaging the garbage. But I also saw people handing out money, I saw a decent young guy sharing stories with an elderly who was holding her life belongings in a bag, smiles from night commuters. I hope my kids would have seen through this experience that whatever happens in life, God would be with us through all of this, as the song says.
