One of the best radios ever produced.
Wow....I still have a Stalker IX in the loft somewhere with the FM switch as well. Still has the original mic. Must look it out.
A beautiful example of a Stalker 9. Something you don't see much anymore. 73 Joe

my mess, need volunteers to clean up the abomination I call a work bench haha
These come up quite often on UK eBay, a very nice rig for sure.
Different PLL to Super Cheetah?
You made me lift the covers and both seem to be same unless my stalker is not original. D2824C.
Anyway nice video. Love these radios.
Cheers.
cbradioreviews.weebly.com/pearce-simpson-super-cheetah.html see discussions on PLL, I must admit, I didnt cross check if this applies to all models, but usually its the 8719 vs 2824 pll difference. I will double check at some stage with our museum models, you have me interested now cheers Brenton vk3cm
@@brentonmeadowsvk3cm yes I am more interested now too.
Possibly confusion with the export model that has FM. They may share the same chassis and PLL as the President Jack. Not to be confused with the Jackson . Different again.
I have a President Jack from France that has the 8719 PLL . Looks like a black AX144 .
If you get confirmation let me know.
Thanks again.
Some say the stonker 9 out performes the 148 GTL DX. Who knows, but I do know I want one.
I picked one up in a box of car parts for £20' with it's original mic. Lft h switch NB'ANL MIDL S HI LOW RHS UK NORMAL.
