I'm using an Analogis Black Diamond nude stylus at the moment. Sounds very good. Not too expensive.

100% nothing sounds as good today as the Stantons Even my gold 500 with the Stanton N500 DJ stylus sounds better than all the high end MCs i have bought and then sold

What’s your favorite that would work with a high mass arm?

I have had similar experiences with LP Gear. If you have a sticky problem that needs to be solved, they tend to just ignore your attempts to contact them. Due to this I tend to avoid them when possible.

Hi Joe. I am setting my second turntable up for 45s only. It’s a rt82 and I have a 2m red on it now and don’t like the sound. I was thinking of getting the at vm95c for 45s since I have a good amount of pollystyrine 45s. Would that be good or would something else be better

The Golding E2 with a conical stylus is on sale for $99. goldringusa.myshopify.com/products/goldring-e2-moving-magnet-cartridge You might also take a look at the ATVM510CB which is a very nice conical as well with really good stereo separation. The VM95C is cheap but a bit flat sounding compared to the other 2 carts. Ortofon carts generally suck. I was liking the 2M blue but I chipped the stylus, I guess. Never again. :)

Picked up a Phillips turntable with a Pickering cartridge at a thrift store. I did not have any experience with pickering. Unfortunately the needle was damaged but I tried to straighten it as much as possible and played a record. Did no track right but the sound it made was a big soundstage, full bass and great depth. Waiting to get a replacement.
