This procedure also applies to this HP OMEN 17-cm2004nm Laptop PC This PC specifically is sold without an operating system (Free DOS) To install Windows 11 there are some particular procedures to do. as well as pressing esc or then F9 to start the Boot Menu and select the USB stick.
I did it exactly the way you did and I chose "Custom Installation" just like what you did. Then I got into a window that says "Where do you want to install Windows?" and it also said "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click Load driver", so I click "Load driver" and then I got to another window which tells me to insert the installation media containing the Driver files and then click OK. But I don't have any installation media containing the Driver files, so I just clicked OK and then I got to another window that says "No signed device driver was found" so I got stuck. Then I went back to the previous screen and this time I clicked "Browse". Then I saw the USB drive containing the media creation tool which I created previously. I also saw another drive called "Boot (X:)" which contains all the files on the Hard Drive of the damaged computer which I'm trying to repair. Can you tell me where to locate the drivers that this installation program is asking for? Right now, I am stuck and can't move on.
Is the computer turning on and working well other than not being able to install? If not, what is the issue? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?

Was your HP computer turning on and working well before this attempted install? If not, what was happening?
@PC_Monkey thanks for your response, no the computer turns on but not working well, apparently I unknowingly bought a computer that didn't have windows installed in it and was trying to do that following your steps but can't proceed.

Hello, can my hp 15-f233wm with Windows 10 be upgraded to windows 11?
Does your computer meet the following specifications? www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications?r=1
Hi, thank you. I followed this and was able to install windows 11 but my USB ports aren’t working. They won’t detect any pendrive. Please help.
After install a new OS, you need to run all the driver and system updates as seen here; ua-cam.com/video/kX8bB725Ljw/v-deo.html. Have you done that? Also, did the USB ports work before the new OS install?
@@PC_Monkey Yeah they worked before the install. I cannot see the link you mentioned as the video might be deleted but my USB ports are working now. The usb ports were turned off to save power, i changed that setting.
Hello so for me I accidentally turned it off during a factory reset just so you know the background. When I select the USB option on my laptop it just takes me to a black screen I need help
1. Was your HP working well before the factory reset? If not, what was happening?
2. Did you purchase the USB or create it yourself?
Hey I'm in the middle of getting my hard drive replaced and needing an operating system and need a flash drive. I looked at your Amazon list and would something labeled as "Repair Recovery Install Restore Boot Fix Flash Drive" work for the initial installation and not a reinstall?? I just wanna get it right the first time.
Yes. That item says 'Install' so it should be good for a new install. You can also create your own for free as seen here: ua-cam.com/video/WIxDYRBVbmk/v-deo.html
@@PC_Monkey thanks for the swift response
When booting to F11 my pc says its in recovery mode but if i dont press F11 the PC will boot to user profile. Any help?

I dont have any option like "I dont have internet"... I tried everything, even windows 10 cant be installed anymore without logging in in microsoft account. In the conclusion, main problem is that i cant install without internet. It doesnt let me...Please, someone, help!
Do you have a Microsoft Account you can sign into in order to finish the install process? You can always remove the account after install as seen here: ua-cam.com/video/y_YakLagYxI/v-deo.html
@@PC_Monkey I dont have microsoft account...
@@milosrodicc I would then create a throw-away one that you can just delete from Windows after and forget about it.
I can do this from my phone to download windows and put then into a usb also or not?
I have never tried to do it from my phone. I have always done it from another Windows computer. Let me know if it works for you but Im not sure I would risk it
Very nice.
Thanks !! Glad this video was helpful :):)
@PC_Monkey there's something else I want to understand about the external drive that you used to install the windows.
Hi, my laptop is HP 255 G9. What is bios key?
hello when i get to the “select the driver to install” i dont have any drivers installed and im not sure what to do
Is your HP computer turning on and working well other than not being able to install Windows? If not, what is happening when you try to turn the computer on normally?
I'm trying to order new usb flash for windows 11. I don't see one that says instal media, only recover , reinstall etc, in fact on your amazone site I only see one usb flash for windows, is that it. I don't see it saying instal media. Plz do I need to put this thing in trash even though new. I've tried everything g except reinstaling windows 11 and don't know which one is instal media
Can I use "my phone" and usb without need the pc ??
I have never tried using a phone to get Install Media before. I dont think I would risk my phone that way as in order to create the Install Media, the USB is usually formatted and all DATA is erased.
No need for prodeuct key?
Most newer computers will pull it directly from the motherboards. If not, you will need to enter it in manually after the install completes.
When i get to the install windows stage it shows that it couldn’t find any drives. I am trying to reinstall windows as before my laptop was stuck on the loading screen. Is there anyway to fix this?
Assuming you have an HP, can you run the diagnostic test as seen here? ua-cam.com/video/lKb2pPQrkRk/v-deo.html
Hey i don't why but the terms and conditions Accept is not working
Is the computer frozen? Is the button greyed out? What is happening?
@PC_Monkey yes button greyed
I tried this and it worked but then i unplugged my pc and went to bed and when i woke up it was back to the diagnostic error only this time it's stuck on the HP logo
I don't know if i should install it a second time
Can you try the diagnostic test as seen here? ua-cam.com/video/lKb2pPQrkRk/v-deo.html. Also, was your HP turning on and working well before this attempted install? If not, what was happening?
@@PC_Monkey It was working well. Then, I tried to transfer some files to the PC. Midway through the transfer, the PC froze and just stopped working. I tried everything mentioned in the video. What ended up working was the installation of a new OS, because it gave me the error that there wasn't any OS. I installed Windows 11 and it was working perfectly up until it wasn't, and now it keeps crashing and saying a new OS needs to be installed. I already tried that twice. I don't know if downloading it a third time will make any difference. I'm thinking maybe I need to change the hard drive.
Forgot to mention after it froze the first time it was the blue screen with the gathering error info after that it was the boot loop then i installed the OS it worked for a while crashed again i reinstalled the OS and still crashed
So now I'm here
My boot menu is only showing Legacy AI210 and boot from file..what should i do

Hi, i buy from second hand an laptop Dell 17 5759 i5/6200U but is very slow his speed is 400 megaherrtz and my memory is 16GB ram.
Whats happen I need help, please.
PD I haven't battery is only with charger.
Hi, I don't think that's important, even without the ssd it's very slow, it's freezing, another thing, the laptop's power supply is 45 watts.
I have done the test without disk installed and it is still slow even in bios.
What can be? I got scammed?
Thank you.
If you just purchased it, I would try to reinstall the operating system as seen here. A fresh operating system will erase all unwanted DATA :)
@@PC_Monkey I've already done it, and it's still the same, besides that, I installed linux and nothing, it's still at 0.40 gigahertz, that is, 400 Megahertz, I don't know what else to do, some Bios error or what?
Thank you.
PD: I change ssd 5 times and nothing, I haven't slept all night (Spain, Europe)

It’s asking for product key. How do I bypass that.
There may be an option that you dont have it at the moment. The install should complete. However, you will need to put that in for the OS to be official and working well.
MINE DOES NOT HAVE A USB OPTION WHAT DO I DO
Have you tried the Install Media USB in a different USB port? Some computers will only perform the install task using one of the ports. Also, was your HP computer working well before this attempted install? If not, what was happening?
