My dad, like so many others, knew the EU would become a political organisation back when it was first proposed as the common market and voted against it all those years ago. You can watch clips from the 60s where Britons were telling us what the result of immigration would be; they were exactly right. It goes on and on. We have had a lot of smart people who were very good at predicting what was going to happen; the problem is none of them today are involved in politics or allowed in the media.

Absolutely nothing? Never ever forget, Farage is the man who wants to remove your right to assembly, your right to a private life, your right to a fair trial and your right to freedom of expression. All of these are in the ECHR. He doesn't just want them removed for immigrants. He wants YOUR rights removed. What Reform could demand is to transfer the rights enshrined in the ECHR into English/British law and have it controlled by British courts, but the Reform Party is not demanding that or promising that. They just want to remove YOUR human rights. Remember this: Everyone who votes for Reform is voting for the removal of THEIR basic human rights for themselves, their children and their grandchildren!

Not the only person. Perhaps the only politician. Almost every Briton I've spoken to (who is not some lefty student) has known exactly where the country was going. My dad, like so many others, knew the EU would become a political organisation back when it was first proposed as the common market and voted against it all those years ago. You can watch clips from the 60s where Britons were telling us what the result of immigration would be; they were exactly right. It goes on and on. We have had a lot of smart people who were very good at predicting what was going to happen; the problem is none of them today are involved in politics or allowed in the media.
