Such beautiful countryside, and seemingly, remote. Don’t you just love those moments as a UA-camr, when the weather plays into your hands! I’m completely ignorant about the history of Germany and look forward to learning more!
And more is on the way, thanks, mate! Yes, amazing how you can have a weather-lottery-win. I'm thinking of the moment the mist moved away from between my drone and the white horse. And then these quiet moments where you get bit after bit of unplanned footage and all you hear is birds and Boings...bliss!
Fascinating to see European castles and their history. Europe saw so many devastating wars, - 30 years War, War of the Spanish Succession and many others, even before Napoleon. Good to watch.
Delighted that you enjoyed it and, yes, it is a sad fact that as a species we are constantly at each other's throats. Especially the 30 years war (I wasn't aware of that some months ago) is THE traumatic experience still shaping German mind-sets today. Some areas lost 70% of their population, worse than the black death. I've got a number of videos lined up about this particular part of the world and its ancient fortresses; stay tuned and thanks for commenting!
Thank you for another excellently presented film and story.

You remind me a great deal of the late actor John McEnery who although not German did play one in 'The Land that Time Forgot'
Well, thanks for that! I swear I wasn't trying to emulate him as I am barely aware of any existing footage available online.
