I have like a long drawn out theory about the plot for season 3 so don't read any more if you haven't finished season 2 I think Michael is killed when Nadine shoots him. Cause when Rogelio (I think) asks him if he still loves Jane he says yes then the narrator says "And Michael believed that till his very last breath" or something along the lines of that. Then after the death Jane of course is a wreck and doesn't see Raphael for a while so the co parenting stops. Raphael being Raphael brings it to court and after seeing Jane so upset drops the case. The story will then probably skip a few months or there will be a plot line with Rogelio and Xo then Jane realises that Michael being shot must of been a sign. That this whole time everything that has stopped them from being together is a sign. So she goes to the hotel to talk to Raphael and Petra is there and tells Jane about her and Raphael having sex so again Jane is heartbroken but Raphael over hears this and goes to Janes house .
this could be right, but i don't think Michael would be killed off because the love triangle is so strong in this series, that killing Michael might lose a lot of viewers and might reduce the ratings... but maybe Michael might be hospitalised and won't really be seen?

I love the scene where she first meets Rafael, and he tells to be a writer and "be brave". I feel like it's showing you just how Michael really is the safe reality compared to Rafael, the fantasy. During the whole show, we always see Jane going back to Michael because it's safe. It's like Michael is teaching and Rafael is writing. She also sort of chose Michael because her family was always like "I prefer Michael," instead of asking who SHE preferred. Also, in S03, when her and Michael were almost pregnant. I feel like the fact that she ended up not being pregnant shows how with Michael, the timeline is very real and very important. While with Rafael, they had a freaking kid before they even had a first date! Also, the boys' families. Michael's family is a normal family with normal problems. Billy is a screw up, the divorced parents hate each other but work together to protect their son's feelings, ya know, regular stuff. Whilst Raf's family is a complete mess, almost like a novel. The dad deals in stolen art, the son was adopted from a convent in Italy, both the mom AND the step-mom are drug lords, the daughter is sleeping with one of said drug lords, the first wife lived at a lake with magical fish. It really feels like Jane and Raf are "meant to be". Because after all that's happened, Sin Rostro, Mutter, Nadine, Michael's death, Jane meeting her dad (international telenovela star Rogelio De La Vega), THE GODDAMN INSEMINATION, I doubt Jane would keep choosing a safe haven. Actually, I think it would prompt her to do whatever the hell she wants, because she knows that happiness probably won't last, with drug lords on the loose and all that. And that's why she'll go back to Rafael. Because if her life is messed up, why not live in her fantasy instead? THE END Also, on another note, I really believe that Catalina will end up being a villain. I mean, remember Catalina Creel? And what if she starts dating Adam? Okay, I'm done ranting.

I feel that Michael will be in hospital or will be in a coma all season 2, so the storyline keeps jane a virgin. BUT! maybe jane and rafael might build this really unusual strong connection like nothing ever happened between them and maybe it might be meant to be and it will be so powerful? because of the lack of Michael. TBH I think this relationship happened for a reason (maybe not but I'll shed my little ray of hope for you all shipping rafael and Jane) didn't the narrator say right before Jane told raf her and Michael broke up and they kissed that "Jane was going to say words that would change everything FOREVER" So you know forever is a very long time and if you have seen any of the recent episodes and maybe even next weeks promo things are going to get different and they are going to be pulled apart even more but the narrator did say forever so I'm thinking the writers are making us wait a long time UNTILL they do get back together (yet again maybe not but this is my conspiracy )

one thing i did not understand, if michael is so perfect for jane why did the writers even bother to have this rafael track. After the season 2 finale, it all made no sense to me.... Jane falling for rafael, then rafael falling for jane, then rafael's weird behaviour and proving everybody right around jane that rafael is not right for her, and eventually jane marrying the same guy who she broke up with because of rafael.... I still feel somewhere deep down that the show will eventually end with rafael and jane together because otherwise there is no point of having him in the show at all....besides i feel that track was more realistic as in with all the issues and stuff. no matter how cute jane and michael's track might look but such tracks don't exist in the real world....sad but true. so i am curious to see how jane and rafael's relationship unfolds in the coming seasons......because now i feel with jane and michael's marriage and all the michael's cuteness and kindness the romantic side of the show has come to a standstill. a couple with no issues at all and just romance.....really!!!?? does that really happen in the real world??

I might say that I didn't finish season 2 yet! And I love the series and also the spoilers hahah.. In my opinion she should end up with Rafael. Yeah, Michael is sweet and kind, and cares about her, all of that, but I don't know, maybe its just me but the chemistry between Rafael and Jane seems more strong that Jane and Michael. As I said I havent finished season 2 , but in my opinion if in this season she ends up with Michael I think because she just goes for the safe and known place, like she is not willing to get to know better Rafael. I hope they find their way back to eachother and not because of a cheap way either. Like Michael dying or having amnesia. I want them to realize that they can't hide their feelings for eachother. I really feel like they're meant be together. And it's true the saying "if you are in love with two people at the same time. Then choose the second cause you wouldn't have fallen in love with the second if you were in love with the first". It's also a sign with the petals dropping. Every time they kiss petals drop, as well as the flower from her frame. I think she'll lose her virginity to him and they'll end up together. Hopefully married too

I was team Michael for a very long time, but I started to doubt their relationship. I don't know, but something about Michael doesn't feel real. He seems too perfect! I think something bad about him will turn up. Maybe something from his past, or maybe he will get feelings for another woman. I don't know, something just doesn't feel right anymore.
I also have the feeling that Jane and Rafael will come back together. Jane is currently writing that story of Alba and Mateo, and their story reminds me of Jane and Rafael. I also think that Alba is #teamRafael because of that reason. I think Jane will realise the similarities of their story and will doubt her relationship with Michael. Just a theory! I just want Jane to be geniously happy, and I think Michael is a little too safe, Rafael challenges her in the best way possible.

oh gosh how you know so ? I too still have hope for Jane and Raf. Team # Rafael, not really feeling Jane and Michael I feel they have to try too hard to get chemistry. with Raf I saw genuine friendship and love and understanding and a man who wants to make his lady happy. Michael is a good guy but I don't feel Jane married the right man and can't wait for Michael to be out of the way or die or something. I know that it sounds cold but no soulmates in tv series ever get together so early hence I still have hope for Jane and Raf.

I have like a long drawn out theory about the plot for season 3 so don't read any more if you haven't finished season 2
I think Michael is killed when Nadine shoots him. Cause when Rogelio (I think) asks him if he still loves Jane he says yes then the narrator says "And Michael believed that till his very last breath" or something along the lines of that. Then after the death Jane of course is a wreck and doesn't see Raphael for a while so the co parenting stops. Raphael being Raphael brings it to court and after seeing Jane so upset drops the case. The story will then probably skip a few months or there will be a plot line with Rogelio and Xo then Jane realises that Michael being shot must of been a sign. That this whole time everything that has stopped them from being together is a sign. So she goes to the hotel to talk to Raphael and Petra is there and tells Jane about her and Raphael having sex so again Jane is heartbroken but Raphael over hears this and goes to Janes house .
this could be right, but i don't think Michael would be killed off because the love triangle is so strong in this series, that killing Michael might lose a lot of viewers and might reduce the ratings... but maybe Michael might be hospitalised and won't really be seen?
I would've absolutely loved that. But just a tiny mistake: Nadine was already dead at the end of S02. I think you meant Susanna, Michael's new partner (who turns to be Rose with a face mask and a throat mic of course).

I love the scene where she first meets Rafael, and he tells to be a writer and "be brave". I feel like it's showing you just how Michael really is the safe reality compared to Rafael, the fantasy. During the whole show, we always see Jane going back to Michael because it's safe. It's like Michael is teaching and Rafael is writing. She also sort of chose Michael because her family was always like "I prefer Michael," instead of asking who SHE preferred. Also, in S03, when her and Michael were almost pregnant. I feel like the fact that she ended up not being pregnant shows how with Michael, the timeline is very real and very important. While with Rafael, they had a freaking kid before they even had a first date! Also, the boys' families. Michael's family is a normal family with normal problems. Billy is a screw up, the divorced parents hate each other but work together to protect their son's feelings, ya know, regular stuff. Whilst Raf's family is a complete mess, almost like a novel. The dad deals in stolen art, the son was adopted from a convent in Italy, both the mom AND the step-mom are drug lords, the daughter is sleeping with one of said drug lords, the first wife lived at a lake with magical fish. It really feels like Jane and Raf are "meant to be". Because after all that's happened, Sin Rostro, Mutter, Nadine, Michael's death, Jane meeting her dad (international telenovela star Rogelio De La Vega), THE GODDAMN INSEMINATION, I doubt Jane would keep choosing a safe haven. Actually, I think it would prompt her to do whatever the hell she wants, because she knows that happiness probably won't last, with drug lords on the loose and all that. And that's why she'll go back to Rafael. Because if her life is messed up, why not live in her fantasy instead?

Also, on another note, I really believe that Catalina will end up being a villain. I mean, remember Catalina Creel? And what if she starts dating Adam? Okay, I'm done ranting.

BUT! maybe jane and rafael might build this really unusual strong connection like nothing ever happened between them and maybe it might be meant to be and it will be so powerful? because of the lack of Michael. TBH I think this relationship happened for a reason (maybe not but I'll shed my little ray of hope for you all shipping rafael and Jane) didn't the narrator say right before Jane told raf her and Michael broke up and they kissed that "Jane was going to say words that would change everything FOREVER" So you know forever is a very long time and if you have seen any of the recent episodes and maybe even next weeks promo things are going to get different and they are going to be pulled apart even more but the narrator did say forever so I'm thinking the writers are making us wait a long time UNTILL they do get back together (yet again maybe not but this is my conspiracy )

one thing i did not understand, if michael is so perfect for jane why did the writers even bother to have this rafael track. After the season 2 finale, it all made no sense to me....
Jane falling for rafael, then rafael falling for jane, then rafael's weird behaviour and proving everybody right around jane that rafael is not right for her, and eventually jane marrying the same guy who she broke up with because of rafael....
I still feel somewhere deep down that the show will eventually end with rafael and jane together because otherwise there is no point of having him in the show at all....besides i feel that track was more realistic as in with all the issues and stuff. no matter how cute jane and michael's track might look but such tracks don't exist in the real world....sad but true. so i am curious to see how jane and rafael's relationship unfolds in the coming seasons......because now i feel with jane and michael's marriage and all the michael's cuteness and kindness the romantic side of the show has come to a standstill. a couple with no issues at all and just romance.....really!!!?? does that really happen in the real world??

I just love how Jane has a romantic "thing" with the only three men she's ever loved in her life. With Michael, it's snow falling. With Raf, it's flower petals falling. With Adam (Jane's first love), it's paper cranes flying! I don't know, I just find it really sweet. And like +Amy Maktheva said below (even though Jane already lost her virginity), maybe the petals falling around her and Rafael do have a meaning that relates to her flower. I mean, that's what the show is about, right? Jane's flower. So therefore, maybe it could be hinting to Jafael being endgame. I don't know, just a little theory.
