I'm not a fan of chain straps too, but what I like is the charm you put on the 2nd bag! I love the concept, for now I'm using an airpod case from burga on my bag, but looking to expand my charm collection 😄
Ahhh - thank you for the video! Love the look of that Tabby. And I can relate to your realizations… especially regarding sound- I have the same thing about Velcro. Can’t stand it, mostly because of the sound! I actually love a chain, as long as it has leather woven through (a la Chanel) 😂I think it cuts down on the sound. I just bought a leather woven chain from Mautto and I really like the look. PS - to help w the asymmetry, can you add a shorter extender to each side of that shoulder strap?
Yes the leather woven into the chain does cushion out the sound of the chain, this is true! I do own one from DUYP. And I know what you mean about Velcro. It’s extremely abrasive for some reason 😄 some of my kids shoes have it (which is so practical). But my dogs jackets (it’s starting to get cold) has giant pieces of Velcro and it’s just so… extra 😂 Thanks for writing!
I’m with you on the chain straps. I’m not a fan of them. I only really love it on my tiny bags, but I will always be more of a leather strap type of gal
I definitely don’t miss California I think the wildfires was the last straw for me to leave for Texas. It got so bad in 2020 that ashes were falling from the sky like snow and we could barely breath and our car was COATED 😭 I LOOOVVEE that Jacquard soft tabby with the strap extender. I feel like the strap extenders just changes the game on bags in more ways than one
I finally sold my pillow Madison yesterday and I tried it on before boxing it and quickly took it off 😂 I could not f-n staaaand the chain straps and I also do not like square bags
So happy you sold your Madison! That was a bag I almost got but the chain was what kept me from getting it. It’s wild it took me this long to make that realization. I feel free! ✨

Yes on tiny bags it can totally work! On bigger bags… they demand a little more comfort. Thanks for writing! 🫶😃

Wildfires in California are causing more and more concerns as each year comes.
Strap extenders are an incredible game changer. 😃
