If my operation was big enough to have a processor that would be the wedge I would have 100%. That's the nicest looking wood out of a processor that I've ever seen. No re-splitting required. Beauty job Andrew and Eastonmade! Dave
Chris from in the Woodyard needs one of those wedges
That looks like it works really well.
Watching just how fast and how much firewood comes off the 48c conveyor is mesmerizing. Best part is is the uniformity of many of the pieces and how well it would bundle up. Thanks for taking us through the layout/design of the new wedge Andrew!
Yes thats what I was talking about a couple years back,, looks good
It's a beauty fr sure Andrew. Nice design - Love the fact that the outside is not closed in - two GP thumbs up!
Great video Andrew!!!
Top class machine thanks Andrew
The best wedge on the market period
🤘That is some pretty wood!!!!
That machine makes absolutely amazing bundle grade firewood in record time.
Cheers Woody !!!
Working nicely 🔥💯👍🤜🤛. Andrew from NB :)
Easily the fanciest sawdust maker I've seen yet. The bonus wood pile seals the deal if you have the coin for it. Very cool design. :)
Awesome looking wedge leading the pack as usual.
This is a Killer design the wood comes off so fast and even the Best just keeps getting better !
Fantastic Andrew 👏👏👏👏🪵🇺🇸
That wedge could be very beneficial to Chris In the Woodyard and Skidder Kev!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Wow, that machine is unbelievable! I'd like to see another do what this beast can. Super impressive!
Andrew the 48C is a beast! Hey I had your hat on the other day filling my tank here in little ole Olney, IL. and a local tree service crew were gassing up 40 feet away from me. I heard one of them say, "He is wearing a Eastonmade hat." You are known here in southeastern IL. Lol 👍👍 Fight 'em fair! -Everett
That right there is a thing of beauty!!!
The 16 way wedge is the best i have seen on the Market, its good for bundle and smoking wood,
That looks like it works really well… will it work in a 22-28? 😂
Lol your hinting at the missing link. The 22-28 could use another wedge. Maybe a 12 way but in more of the 2.5in x2.5in box set up. I have the 12 way now but it produces some big pieces for the average bundle. The 7 way box is great but a 12 way splitting them into around 2.5in x 2.5in in one pass would be better. Come on ! We need it.
Nice wedge for skidder kev processor 😊
That produces neater timber than some wedges. How about trying one on a 37D or 37E? I think that design would work a lot better on our shorter timber
Good day Andrew well done sir! That’s a sweet wedge splitting consistent pretty firewood. I like it I like it a lot 👌🏻🔥🇨🇦
That’s a great looking wedge I also really like the box wedge on your other machine
What’s that quote from Jaws, “we’re going to need a bigger boat.” 😂😂😂
Andrew, that’s why the 🪵🦮’s have great 👍 respect for you because you are using your machines like the average person would and not afraid if things don’t always go right 😮😊❤
Always innovating, great wedge!
Quick fast!
Beautiful as always. Great set up
Andrew m8 that is a stunning peice of machinery. That would certainly run rings round any jappa ave never seen so much wood processed so quick. Ps can u send me a swag bag to Scotland??😜🤔🏴👍
It works great! Very nice Andrew!
That is an amazing setup!
yep something else to dream about.
Wow amazing Andrew
Looks impressive and you made another nice video.
Amazing !
That wedge mak8ng it rain firewood!
All you need now is an auto-sorter to be able to place the split wood in piles according to the size.
Impressive!
Looks fantastic.
16-way
Congratulations.
nice job👍
Awesome
That wedge making perfect size wood,, max chooch
Any plans on building a splitter that can run this wedge? That would be sweet for the outfits that aren’t quite big enough for a processor yet.
nice stuff!
I really hope you take this wedge design and incorporate it into the 22-28 variants. I like the 12 way but I'd like it way better if all the pieces where square like this wedge offers.
Beautiful. Would this wedge work on 37D?
It looks awesome!👍 Any thought of taking what you have learned along this journey and revamping the 12 way to more like this design now?
Just can not afford this unit or i would order it. You folks know how to design equipment.
1 minute and 5 seconds. About. For the last log.
With my back yard system. It would take a couple of hours to do that one log. But I don’t sell wood. It’s just for my self usage.
Have a great day. 👍🏻👋
That’s nice wish I could afford one
Looks like the logs can get jammed up before going through the splitter. Think you'll need to monitor every log before going into the splitter.
What kind of tunes are ya listening to in there Andrew? I know you got something playing. 👍👏
Hello Andrew.
One of these days, my Axis will wear out and I should have plenty of money by then to purchase this 48 bad boy!
I would like to know how many Axis owners live in Ar.
Thanks, G Daddy
Looks like the wedge is working awesome. Any updates on how the 40C is coming along?
Got it running again this week. Going to get a bigger saw motor
PS. I'm not trying to get to use when you're once. But there's 'cause I'm a senior citizen and too old even though I've seen both of the rigs in working and at Verizon was funner is awesome.
The other one is the Wolf ridge woods splitter and I do notice that back 40 uses your Eastern made. What are much more and gives more contents?
I'm telling you, it's much better. Thank you for listening to me.
The wedge works great on my 48C until a smaller 8-10" log comes in. It pushes the wedge up and I get large pieces out of the bottom and I can't get the wedge back down without cleaning it out. Did you place the rollers on the new machines closer together than on mine? When the logs drop down between the rollers is when this comes into play. Great video!
Yep that are closer together the bottom wings and trough geometry is quite a bit different than what you currently have
Now to collect sawdust and make wood pellets.
Hey, Andrew, I watch a lottery videos. I am a singer person and enjoy very much on your videos. I also watch back 40 in firewood on the Hill and I do notice. You got the turn the back 40 video. Doing the box wedge, which better you need to have someone doing the opposite of. The firewood on the Hill with his vertical splitter. Because you're a vertical spare. I have seen in person is much better. Let me know what you're paying is. What hound bug in Burnsville, North Carolina?
That wedge is fantastic. Couldn't ask for a faster way to produce bundle wood right off a processor. Any updates on the 40C? Have the mad scientists/engineers in the shop stopped tinkering with it? 🤣
Got it running again this week. I think we are going to try a bigger saw motor.
In the real world the cycle time is +/- 5 seconds, when going well.
Beautiful machine and wedge, too big for my needs, but beautiful nonetheless 😂
How about a vertical box adjustable
Will it work on the 37d?
What is the power difference in the ram on this unit vs something like the 37D? Do you think you could adapt the 37D to run a similar wedge?
With machinery like this I’m starting to question why I go 7 days a week an cut a split . This machine can do a weeks worth of work in one day and it looks like it can handle the bigger wood we get .
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters Will you have one of them to look at at the Vermont show in may
I wish you would give us an idea on how much this process it cost the exact what I’m looking at in this film
All of our prices are listed on our website www.eastonmadewoodsplitters.com
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters the channel I just visited it there’s no prices on it. What are you talking about?
@georgeniebergall7074 thats our website and there are prices with each product
I just wonder about your saw. What is the difference between a chain saw, and a circular saw for your application. I have seen processors with the chain saw, and they also worked well. Anyhow, you guys are making a hell of a mess in the wood yard, for Wonder to have to clean up in the spring.
Very little maintenance with the circular saw and significantly faster
Looking good but sorry multitek 16 has this beat.
@@EastonmadeWoodSplitters everyway. Pieces come out more uniform. Your discharge going right to the ground. Multitek you can place an IBC tote under it. The grapple is a game changer.
She produces eh.
Yes, great wedge! Let’s get one to Chris In The Woodyard so that he doesn’t have to resplit.
I would like to see Ohio wood burner have one to compare to his japa
@@nicholisking9272 I like that idea.
@@nicholisking9272 Sure if you gave one to him he would give it a shot.
There “wood” be no comparison, the 48C would eat the japa alive.
@@WoodysRTBFirewood I suspect it would aswell. Even with traditional knives on the jappa think would still struggle
