Pretty sure that's Paul Weller that's doing them. He definitely did some vocals on this belter. I always thought it was guitar until I heard it without instruments!

I feel like that’s what years of idolizing John Lennon gave him. No one else was better than John at incorporating raw emotion into every song he sang than John, even if he was singing someone else’s words.

Probably his greatest vocal. You can hear that it’s a comped take though interestingly enough. The second E4 climax at the end of the second bridge is punched in. His voice was immense young
It’s like overtime he exaggerated his “liamisms” more and more over time. Still an amazing singer though

Bono?
Easily
And some people will tell you Damon and Jarvis were better!!

If you listen deeply to his voice. You will feel a john lennon vibe to his throat.
His 1994 voice had more or less disappeared and slowly became raspier in 1995. He sounded great on the Morning Glory album though.
that's because he idolized John Lennon so probably his biggest influence. He also called his son Lennon.
The raw emotion in his voice is very Lennon like.
No shit lol
Liam is far better "singer" than Lennon. The main reason he double track his vocals is that he hates it so much LMAO

There is something very magical about this song. Stairway has the same magic. Just a perfect song. Everything compliments it very well.
