I'm thinking of buying a commander what is wrong with the low range without this sport mode ??
Throttle is limited to 40% factory setting.
I have a 2014 Maverick Max that we just took to Little Sahara in Oklahoma and in High gear my belt gets hot quick. So I switched to low gear and I never got above 200. So my question is with this module would it damage anything running low gear the whole time while using this mod? I just had a hard time keeping up with the others because of the Low gear limitations.
I bought the modification however mine does not show what gear it is in it just shows Park
hey brother. Im about to install my and hav a question on your comment section. you mentioned that you have to be very aware of when to use full power. Can you give me some examples of when NOT to use this new found power, .FYI I have the UATV Tech clutch lock up mod installed. thanks and stay safe down there.
+firedawg190 It is nice to know that the power is there when you need it. It can be destructive anytime you have a lot of traction and or resistance to prevent you from moving or your
wheels from turning. When that happens any part of your drive line will be vulnerable,
things will be compounded for your CV joints if there are large angles involved
(suspension unloaded or turning). If you think that doing something, what the
extra power might damage something it probably will. Remember if it can’t take
it you don’t want it.

It is for any instance when you want %100 throttle response for maximum power in low range. The engineers have reduced it down to less then %50 in low range to prevent you from breaking axles and stripping gears in the differentials and transmission with the right conditions. With the sport low you have to be very aware of how and were you use your new found power. I hope the explanation helped

What is the MAIN purpose of this exactly. I thought the low gives you all the torque you need for ruts and steep hill what's the point of this then. Basically gives you 2 highs

dose the 4 seater go the same speed as all?
tevin weir I do not know for sure, but do not see what not other then it is a little heavier.. Hopefully somebody who has a Max can speak to their experience. Thanks for the question please share and subscribe.

lmao at the dog. anyone reading comments this is the best cheap mod you can do for hp on the commander. wakes them up in low. gotta be careful tho. it will break stuff.
