    I appreciate your info. I've been trying to reach Stephanie in savannah about making the transition to colonial. I towed 1 of their trucks the other day and the driver I towed was telling me about the job so I've found you while researching it lol. So I will hopefully be on soon.

    How much are your truck payments and insurance per week? I just got my hazmat and tanker endorsement last week, i currently drive reefer for Prime and im looking for a change. I have a year n 2 month experience

    • @DrtyDiesel

      With my lease purchase my truck payment is $323/week. Insurance I pay annually, which is about $4500 for my bobtail insurance per year. I’m leased to a carrier and they cover insurance while my truck is working for them.

      I’d contact colonial, their website drive4colonial.com should have the phone number. You can call and ask them about lease purchase and getting on with them. In my opinion Savannah is probably the best market to be in.

    Enjoy your videos man. I have five years experience kicking the can over going into fueling hauling or not. But I dunno I suck at math lol and it just looks like something that you can screw up easily. How was it for you starting out?

    • @DrtyDiesel
      @DrtyDiesel  2 роки тому +2

      It’s not bad at all. Starting out it was a lot of information, different loading racks have different procedures on everything. Different products to load and what octane or grade to load.
      As long as you write everything down and double and triple check, you’ll be perfectly fine. You can feel the fuel love around in the trailer but it isn’t near as bad as a smooth bore since most of our trailers have compartments with baffles.
