So when I get back I need to get it back in as in traffic when fan cuts in I now get intermittent rear brake light failure. I’ve heard from another too so it’s a firmware clutch needs sorting. But the new firmware released last Monday also has a lower ride height when you press the home button, and it goes back up when at 80kph I believe. This is a feature that’s good for when your coming into town or a toll booth and need to be flat footed. I will get the latest when back from my current trip
Great shout that sat nav mount. Had a monstrosity from Evotech which cost a fortune and vibrated like hell. Using your set up for my Tomtom. Much better 👍
Hi Here in Australia told by Honda dealer a fortnight after ordering Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tyres , that there was a recall on theses tyres mine order was for a 21 inch front 18 inch rear , apparently the rubber can disintegrate halfway through their useful life .
Yes so I have it on switched ignition now and set the screen to not power off if inactive in the same menu as brightness. There are 2,5 min timers I just set to never. And when I turn bike off the sat nav will check for updated then turn off
Hi nick just put Pirelli scorpion rally str on my tiger 900 great tyres in wet and dry !!! Keep up the great vids look forward to the series from abroad 👍
On one of your previous videos you were saying that you will be doing your own servicing do you have a plan on how you will be resetting the service light I would be very interested to know how you are going to do this
That’s the plan, however having just had a chat on the tiger with a mechanic, they have 4 Ecu on this bike. I’m sure there is a way to cancel the service lights. Good job the service intervals are 10k miles 👍 it may be one bike I have to have dealer serviced
When was this video shot? I just had my firmware updated last week and the update has some bad code. Once it's in, they can't take it out. I have to wait for them to rewrite it. When your fans come on in traffic, the voltage drop caused by activating your brakes, causes a brake light fault. Really annoying. Also, they may have missed a service bulletin for your bike. There are three...clutch bleed, shifter detent arm and spring and bevel box breather.
I have the same bike, the same solution for the nav, and I change the tires to the scorpion trail 2 because I find the Karoo street too noisy to travel. nice video Nick. have a good way ✌
Did you fit the bar end weights yet? I think you mentioned it in a prior video. I’ve got the same bike and do agree the vibrations at motorway overtaking speeds is annoying - also hoping it makes the mirrors more usable too at higher speeds!
Thanks 🙏 yes two bike garage the Bonny stays for local rides and the tiger for more distance. Just been getting the tiger ready for a big eu trip and bedding in those new tyres 🛞 👍
@@theincrediblesulk5543 yes it was a hard one to let go of as its been such a good bike. But with average speed cameras going up everywhere, you just cant use that power any more around here and after riding my Bonneville T120 thats more suitable for the lanes here and also a lot more comfy 🤣 so i wanted a happy mix of Bonny for daily and tiger for distance and trips in comfort.
I hope Youles have you on commission buddy? 😅😅.. I think the new triumph 400 will struggle against Royal Enfield.. the hunter 350/meteor 350 are cheaper.. and you can get a 65O twin for the same price as the triumph.. I think second hand they'll make much more financial sense. Have a great trip.. at least the sun is shining in Europe!!😂.. look forward to your videos 😉👍
I found the software update greatly improved the bike. Throttle was smoother and the anti stall helps a lot.

Hi, out of curiosity did your brake issue get sorted? Mine keeps showing a brake light error since this update
Great vid Nick. Enjoy the trip buddy.
Thanks Dave, can’t wait 😆
Another good one, thank you.
Your welcome 🙏

Yes I have just checked my tyres with the Pirelli recall check site and I’m all good 👍 thanks
I noticed your sat nav turned off, can you let us know what it was as I have the same one.
Have a great trip

Hi there how did you get notification of a recall please
I called the dealer as I was second owner of the bike and they checked on their system
Good information, thanks. Which navigation bracket you use for your Garmin? Cheers from The Netherlands
Check the previous video and you will find in the video description of that video ua-cam.com/video/hz6CQ2nYqhs/v-deo.html

Last weekend, I will keep an eye on what you have experienced but seamed ok so far 👍
Also my vin number wasn’t affected on the bevel box 👍

nice video Nick.
have a good way ✌
Hi Riccardo, yes for me the Karoo were just too noisy on long trips droning on, so very happy so far with the scorpion trail 2 tyres. Thanks 🙏

Yes I fitted them, not cheap but do make a difference to the vibes. Didn’t notice any difference on mirrors
@@MOTOUK1 Great, I will get some too!
Does the heated seat only come in the lower version, or is there a standard height option?
Hi 👋 no you can buy in standard with heating too 👍
Voice capture on Cardo’s does not apply tp Packtalk Bold units sadly only the latest units like Packtalk Edge, just my luck !
Haha me too I have two bolds, while I think it’s a good idea and great finally someone adds this feature. It’s not for me
Enjoyed the video.....bike looks great. Will you be keeping the Bonneville?
Thanks 🙏 yes two bike garage the Bonny stays for local rides and the tiger for more distance. Just been getting the tiger ready for a big eu trip and bedding in those new tyres 🛞 👍
Do you find you are riding the MT10 a lot less now that you have the tiger or still living the MT also ?
I sold the MT10SP traded against the tiger. It’s now the work horse for longer rides and the Bonneville T120 is for those special days.
@@MOTOUK1 oh right I had just watched one of your videos where you said the MT10 was never being sold 😂 can I ask why you decided to get rid of it ?

Cant see the Indian made 400 coming to Europe. If the Scrambler is under £5500 I will be tempted. It's in a different class to the RE Hunter!
I’m looking forward to these coming

Yes all depends what the price will be. So many new bikes coming in 400-440 cc range atm
