One of the greatest singer/Songwriters ever and a ciminally underated artist. His guiitar playing and sense of timing/melody are truly exquisite. So many wonderful songs in various tunings - snowy atlas mountains, list of distractions, hunters map, the lake district, 100 acres of sycamore, ice cap lullaby, dogwood blossom, sow mare bitch vixen, moving to berlin, the gouldings etc etc etc. Great new album as well.
vegetableswife Just stumbled on this guy about an hour ago searching for another song. Wow, criminally underated is spot on. Lyrically , he's a genius imo. What I like the most is that this is music that makes the listener pay attention. You have to invest in the song. It's just other-wordly ! Color me impressed.
I agree... but the new album is so disappointing. There are 4 songs on it.. damn i really wanted this album to be great and Fionn to get his just rewards. Back to the drawing board Fionn.

The man is a genius. Best songwriter ireland has ever produced.
