I don't know I think Gabrielle made a smart move, I also love her and her singer-songwriter piano style of songs, the foundation to this song was essentially just her and a piano, just the production was different, he singing and writing style is the same, and definitely an interesting approach, I really love this song and it's good to see she's stepping out of her genre a little more but still keeping some similarities e.g her singing and writing style, she hasn't 'turned' to pop like a lot of artists usually do and it's a nice change this song
If you listen to her live version of this you can hear the gabrielle alpin roots. She's still there! And I think this song is a great translation of her style into a more glittery-pop sound. Good work my dear.
