I remember the console stereos. I also remember film or Insta-matic cameras. Polaroid Insta-Matic cameras were very popular in the late 1970’s and 1980’s.

Those were the days where an artist had to draw all of the pictures of the products, like the early Sears Catalogs from the 1800s. The term Door Busters is funny, thinking of people busting down the doors to get to the sale items.
Yes, I don't ever see fish at Walmart anymore. Ben Franklin used to sell fish back in the 1980s. I remember a Macy's had a restaurant in the store further back in the 1980s. Hardly anyone was ever there. Thanks.

I remember my algebra teacher telling my class about how expensive basic calculators used to be. A scientific calculator was dirt cheap when I was in school.

Calculators were considered contraband when I was in HS. We couldn't use them or let the teachers know we had them because, cheating!! Not exercising your brain. I think they were spot on!!
