I need some information on RS Logix 500 programming for AB Micrologix 1200. If suppose, we have a sensor in field and connected to the Digital Input of the controller. This sensor is connected to a conveyor, this gets signal ON and OFF contentiously every second or less than a second. I need to activate an output relay port only if the input is constantly ON for more than 5 seconds. Please advise how this can be done.
what is the reason of showing ' No response from processor at selected path/node'? please provide your email if possible so i bale to connect you regarding problems. thanks
You can’t toggle an input. You can only toggle an input if it’s not registered on an input card. This means you do an xio or xic and name it ( creating new tag, just creating, not matching to loca1.I) Do you get what I mean? My English is not the yellow from the egg😅🧑🏼💻

use the input as an Xic to a timer set for a duration of 5 seconds. and the timer .dn bit set to the output you assign
The timer that Matthew mentioned is called a debounce timer, look into it. It's very common.
