LOL I lend my Boss my Jabra 410 and he don't want to return it anymore. He absolutely love it! The Jabra 410 is way better than the Meeting Owl in terms of audio and mic quality. Jabra has some proprietory noise and mic technology similar to plantronics.
Great question. The Speak 410 and 510 are identical in regards to audio. The only difference is the Speak 410 is wired and the Speak 510 is wireless. That's the only major difference.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks for your response. That's really helped me make my decision. Really only need for PC zoom calls so might as well go for the cheaper option if mic/sound is the same. Cheers!
Maybe it's just me but it really feels like your colleague never actually switched the microphones during the recording. I am worried that when you tapped your finger on the device, the noise seemed to originate at some distance from the 510.
We double checked and as far as we're aware of the audio is from both speakerphones. We never edit any audio, what you hear is what we recorded and posted. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the review. I have seen in videos of this device that when you tap any of the buttons, there is a soft clicking sound. If you are on a call, and tap any of the buttons like the mute button, can the other end hear the clicking sound? If it is audible, is there any way to silence the clicking?
I'm a counsellor that works in a rehab, since covid some of my clients have had to join our group therapy sessions via zoom on a laptop. The built in mic on the pc is useless at picking up a group discussion where people are 3 - 4 feet away and sat in different directions, would this solve the problem?
Might be a weird question: Can I setup the Jabra Speak 510 to be my microphone but use a bluetooth earbud/headset for the audio? Or will that just be a messy/unreliable setup? I really like the voice quality of the Speak but I can't find the same quality on an earbud. Will be doing calls for about 8 hours a day and headsets(over-ear or on-ear) will just be exhausting especially in a humid environment. Hoping to find bluetooth earbuds(with a good battery life?) with a quality mic like the Speak to make everyday more comfortable.
I don't believe this would do like what you want, but it more so sounds like you need a pair of earbuds with good sound quality to hear and be heard. Check out this video and one of these headsets may be worth considering ua-cam.com/video/5cls9NjbIHY/v-deo.html Let us know your thoughts.
The building next to my apartment is under construction. Will the 410 microphone catches all those construction noises more than a regular wire ear plug microphone?
I do a lot of virtual group sessions from a standalone PC i have a decent speaker system and want the groups to hear the best sound quality, would i be better buying a mic rather than a mic/speaker like the Jabra - roughly for similar costs?

If this is a speakerphone, can you show it being used on a call?

The Speak 410 is a good one!
How's the audio and sound quality compared to the 410? I don't mind plugging it in, just looking for better mic and sound quality.

@@garyhoang9923 Glad that helped you, that's why we make these videos! Be well.
Would be good if you did the recordings with the devices, so show the microphone capabilities.
Thanks for watching and providing your feedback Jeff! That helps us improve for the future.

When you say they hear a clicking sound, is it non stop? Or they hear a clicking sound one time when you tap the mute or volume adjustment?

Hi Samuel, this would 100% fix your issue. This is another model to compare as well ua-cam.com/video/8lisTqjfWT8/v-deo.html

Hi David, most likely not. A headset with a noise canceling microphone will be much more effective.
Might be a silly question - but when you were using whatever mic to record the video the sound was miles better?
The microphone we use to record the videos is a pretty good shotgun mic. Not sure if that answers your question or not?
