If I wanted to make a cowl in this stitch instead of a scarf would I use a multiple of 6 like the hat or 6+2? Thank you for your beautiful tutorials. I made the hat and I absolutely love it! I would really like to try making a cowl.

What would be the count if you wanted to make a blanket?
She said the multiple for this pattern is 6 plus 2. Hope this helps
