Chest voice, head voice, mixed voice in one seamless breath. He runs up and down his range so easily and he never runs out of breath - ever. Those beautiful riffs and runs - his golden voice massaging the ears and his soft expressions and uplifting, happy smile. Austin Brown is one one of my favourite voices.
That was breath taking!! Like you said he did it so effortlessly 😮 I just want to say I LOVE your set-up, Brad! Looks like your in a barn ❤ great reaction 🎉 I love Home Free😊
Somebody on Austin's page was telling him he should stand up and giving him pointers...but what he doesn’t get is Austin hit it out of the park while he effortlessly sat down. He didn’t NEED to stand up or change a single thing. Subtle. Sweet. Amazing. ❤
1. It's more difficult to sing seated than standing upright. 2. The Internet is full of self-appointed 'experts' who think they know everything better than everyone else and they're very vocal about it. It gets especially funny, but also frustrating, when they start forcing their 'wisdom' on people who are very obviously much more talented and knowledgeable than these 'experts' are. These people also tend to comment on viral videos, or in the comment sections of big UA-camrs, because they seek attention.
Thanks for this one...we knew you would love it as much as we do! Its just perfection at its finest! He set up an acct for fan donations toward future videos ..he said they need 5k per video and didn't care how long it took to get it! Well the day after he announced this acct...he checked it and there was more then enough for 2 videos in the acct..just overnight....he was shocked! The fans told him to just leave the acct open for future donations! The fans do love himl
His range, along with his breath control and perfect placement, is the result of hard, hard work. It's so disrespectful to an artist to talk as if God just decided to give them a perfect voice and the artist him/herself had nothing to do with it.
Home Free has a UA-cam release coming out Wednesday - American Pie with Don McLean... Previewed it on Patreon and, wow! I do highly recommend it, when it drops!
He is absolutely amazing! All the guys in Home Free are tremendously talented on their own - but together they are phenomenal. You have to see them live.
So glad you reacted to this! Austin is so talented! You are so right about his vocals are effortless! The runs are beautifully and tastefully done (not overdone, either)! Home Free is releasing a new video this Wednesday! It’s epic! Looking forward to your reaction to it! It’s a 51st anniversary edition of “American Pie” with the legendary Don McLean!!
I love how you understand true talent and what it takes to sing like he does. He does it so easily that people don't all realize what he is doing. It's truly incredible how he uses his breathing and learned how to have such control over every note, every word is perfectly sang to understand him. You are a great reactor Brad. Thanks so much. From another Austin fan!! Take care.
Austin is soaring now with several singles...Danny’s Song; Sitting on the Dock of the Ay; You’ve Got a Friend!! Home Free is also Breaking into 2021 with their new collaboration with Don McClean. “American Pie!! WOW ITS EIC,! Great reaction!!
How good does Austin have to be to make that song sound so effortless. He is the only person I have ever heard sing this, that can rival Bobby Hatfield.😊🐝❤
Like always you do a perfect analysis and a great reaction, thanks 😊. If you didn't have done yet I would love you reacting to Tim doing can't help felling in love
Amazing vocalist. I will always love you is another complex song. You got to listen to Kelly Clarkson's live version on ACM awards as a tribute to Dolly Parton. OMG! And everyone has heard Whitney's version. WOW
I have been waiting for you to react to this!! I know you love Austin's voice so I figured you would really love this. I'm a huge fan of the Righteous Brothers & their version. Austin definitely gives Bobby Hatfield a run for his money. (BTW, Chris Rupp just released a cover of Josh Turner's "Long Black Train" featuring Tim Foust. Definitely worth checking out.)
That woman is so patronising. She didn't even know the amount of hard training Austin had done. Even now, when he and Rob released an operatic aria, she is still trying to put him down - and all the while complaining that they didn't invite her to join in! I don't know if it's jealousy of his talent, but her superiority towards a sweet, thoughtful, humble but almost supernaturally talented individual is hard to take
@@patriciamcl54- If you haven't already done so, watch Austin's duet with Rob Lundquist of Nessun Dorma. It will blow your mind - Rob is amazing and Austin's voice is just angelic, together they're just incomparable - wow!
@@patriciamcl54 - Sorry - I was distracted & missed that part of your msg! I don't know why that woman is so condescending. I take such people with a whole shaker of salt and - like you - wonder just what their issue is. Perhaps the only opera singer she actually credits is the (late) Pavarotti!
I heard it several times now and it is just as good each time. It made the best scene in "Ghost", which is why, like the "Luke I am your father!" scene in Empire Stikes Back, it has been parodied so many times. You should check out Lexie Walker's original song "Tiny Voice". ua-cam.com/video/d4z1OZc7tj8/v-deo.html. It is your kind of song, your style of vocals.
Sorry I can't find a place to put this request. Austin is great on this but can you please listen to Avi Kaplan in one of his higher register songs? He isn't Tim Foust but he isn't limited to staying down in the cellar either. Eg. Otherside, The Summit, Hey Ya! Or even the higher alt. versions of deeper voiced releases?
I know some people won't like this, but I have listened to the Righteous Brothers version of this and the runs feel gratuitous to me. I don't feel that at all with Austin. Even though he has sevreal runs and riffs in this cover, they don't feel overdone to me.
He has a technique of alternating runs and other decorations with what's called parlando, using a speaking rhythm, so that it always feels fresh and interesting. He also plays slightly with the rhythm, extending a note a little here and there. And he always sings as if the words mean something to him personally, rather than just singing to make a lovely noise! Our boy was clearly trained by the best, on top of his glorious talent.
Please please do Geoffs new video, sixteen tons. I think it is his lowest single cover yet. He goes lower more often at least, if not lower than Balckbird, Headless Horseman, or High and Dry. Also, Tim Foust was just featured in a duet with Chris Rupp, an ex member of home free who also created the group. It’s called Long Black Train (I think)

Really getting to showcase his full talent in his solo stuff so good to see
The most beautiful thing I have ever heard. I don't know anybody that can do what Austin does without even trying
yep one word I could use to explain Austin is "effortless" or so he makes it seem
@@miamidolphinsfan Agreed. But there is a TON of effort there - he just makes it seem like there isn't. And THAT's the magic!
And he's sitting down! He also oozes sex appeal. Amazing! Good Lord! Check out his "Stand By Me" performance.
Austin had a solo career before Home Free. As a matter of fact, he met members of Home Free while performing as a solo singer on a cruise line.
Austin Brown is perfection.

It's great. The Righteous Brothers version in "Ghost" is alive again through Austen's voice.

But doesn't that make us the winners?

Yes!!! You finally reacted to Austin!!!!@
You should listen to Austin singing Tears In Heaven. It brought me to tears.
This was and always will be Bobby Hatfield song of The Righteous Brothers! This version is definitely outstanding and did Bobby justice.
He has been doing solos like that with Steve playing the guitar.

Perfection!💕
I’ve heard someone say that Austin has the same kind of voice as David Phelps. I tend to agree. What do you think? 😍🙏
Infinitely better than Phelps, who's overrated in my opinion.
He’s so good. Very much like the Righteous brothers version. Steve was good too. Loved your reaction.

There's nowhere to hide with that accompaniment - an opera singer who reviewed it said she thought with a little operatic training, he could do that.
