Thing is, an NFT actually doesn't give any more transfer of rights, than buying a comicbook in the store. It's just a unique signature on the item to prove you own that specific copy. Simple example. The tolkeen estate could mint the pages of the lord of the rings, but it would not at all impact their ownership of the lord of the rings. I agree if we made games nfts, we would get back the system of second hand games. Also, in the EU, it has been ruled that your license to a game is an object of value you own and thus have a right to resell. It just hasn't been enforced on any companies yet as both valve and epic are appealing and stalling.
