John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." 1 Corinthians 13:2 "If I have faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing."🌹❤

though the book is not practical in the sense that it doesn't give us step by step methods like many modern self-help books.
it changed my perception of love, and I am sure that has had an effect on how I act.

A very thought provoking book. Cs Lewis was on a another world intellectually. One of his most difficult books to read in my opinion.
I love this book and you gave a very clean summary! I think I would love to see more details of your opinion in the ‘review’ parts of these videos. It feels like that part is too short!
For me it's the least important part 😅 But as I see that people are interested in it I'll try to make it longer 😊

Can you please suggest some of his books or other great Christian minds that are good for gifting. It is for my young niece, she is a Christian but is a deep thinker. She wants to pursue clinical psychologist and she's looking for a really good philosophy book based on Christian values.
Hi Elizabeth, interesting insights on an interesting book. In addition to your thoughts, I am also intrigued by your accent. I have never heard 3 of those 4 Greek words pronounced that way before. May I ask where you live and what is your first language?
I live in Austria, so the accent you hear is probably German.
As I speak modern Greek I pronounced the words as they are pronounced in modern Greek.

Whoa! Basically, I have to love. No wonder I put up walls to protect my vulnerability. It makes sense why love is often difficult. I have to break out of my coffin to do so. It literally takes work and a decision. I prefer loving cheese danish and cakes! But then again, that’s not redeemable love! Please God, help me love others the way you love me.🫠😀
