Neymar grows playing on the streets... theres no space to play so you must think quickly... footwork is important but what amazes me is your bodyfeint...
The reason why brazilians have this play style and that foot work is because in Brazil when you’re really young you don’t play soccer in a field you play it in like a court it’s called futsal. It’s like the size of the basketball court and since everything is so close and you don’t have space you have to learn how to dribble like all the brazilian legends do. And when they’re not playing futsal they’re playing in the streets. Brazilians only start playing on field at like age 13ish

But when they play LB or CB (left back or center back ) they are great

It has nothing to do. These people have been playing there since they started walking. Lives on a court or field. But this is the same as studying, there are people who find it easier than others.

That footwork came from his early times playing FUTSAL(Indoor Soccer) in Brazil. Futsal is way faster paced compared to Traditional Football.
And not only Neymar started on it.. The greatest brazilian dribblers started on Futsal like Ronaldo(R9), Ronaldinho(R10), Robinho, Kaka, Marta(Best woman player) and many others.

That footwork can be trained and also that moved can be learned and trained. Most of the strikers and midfielders in the best leagues know hoy to do that skills. Also a lot of people who don't play can do it. Aulthought, only few players in history are able to do that moves against best players. Neymar's footwork is amazing but his capacity to think quickly and be creative is what makes him such a great player. Most of players against amateur people can humillate with that moves but against each oher is very difficult to see. Most of this tipe of player are from brazil and those crative moves are often to dance. It looks like the are dancing with their rivals, very beautiful to see. Some of these great players are Neymar (right now), ronaldo nazario, ronaldinho, robinho, riquelme, cristiano ronaldo, douglas costa, romario, rivaldo, denilson. Most of them brazilians, they call this way to play football "joga bonito" (beautifull play).

Or you were born with talent to play soccer or you dont. And yeah in Brazil we grow up playing soccer with no shoes on and playing between a little dirty field where we make magic with the ball and most of time there's no one to watch you playing soccer and we don't have money enough to become in a professional player so I'm sure there's a lot of great brazilians players in favelas and wherever but we have no one to watch us and our parents have not money to help us following our dreams!
