Thanks for your review! I'm waiting on my Oakcha haul, and everyone's reviews are making me want USPS to hurry it up!! You've convinced me to add Italian Cello to my next order if i like this batch. (And you were right the first time, it's chel-lo!)
@@pjacksone Full disclosure, I've only smelled Kilian love... don't be shy, so I'm only judging the dupes based on what's in the bottle. I tend to prefer sweet florals and gourmands, so obviously these ratings are based on my preferences. They all seem like similar quality, but some scents (powdery, detergenty, or too dry) are never going to win me over. I included my mom's favorites since she prefers more complex florals. Full bottles of Sweet Addict (0/5, nothing like LDBS but internet says to let it age); Miss Girl (2/5, cherry syrup and almond extract); Madame Rose (4.5/5, complex fruity, floral, spicy, interesting); Secret Duchess (4/5, VERY secret at first but dries into an intriguing scent); Almost Nude (3/5, refreshing and light); Heavens Speak (6/5, PERFECT). The signature sample set: Amber Aura (5/5, delectably spicy. I layered it with Heavens Speak for a boozy, spicy apple pie); Ukiyo (4.5/5, love smelling it but it's too dry for me. My mom loves patchouli and complex florals, and this was her second favorite); Cosmic Fusion (2/5, smells like clean linen); Sorcery (5/5, intoxicating); Dream Fuel (3.5/5, green and complex. My mom's favorite); Grey Santal (2/5, woodsy smoky leather). The jewel sample set: Pearl 22 (5/5, spicy, woodsy, fruity. not too dry, not too sweet. Mom's fourth pick and the only scent our favorites overlapped on); Sapphire 7 (0/5, laundry detergent); Diamond 15 (3.5/5, clean, herbal, complex, almost soapy? like carrying a bundle of plants); Emerald 13 (3/5, complex, woody, dry. feels expensive. subtle); Ruby 34 (4/5, fresh, clean, lightly floral, fruity. One of Mom's favorites.)
I absolutely love Bond no9 Bleecker St. and when I found that Oakcha offered a dupe I quickly ordered it and you're right...if you can get past the dry down, it is spot on. Thanks for the review.
