Thank you! It was an interesting experience! I did end up getting the mixing medium but haven’t tried it yet. I’m working on a watercolor right now but I’m looking forward to my next acrylic piece. Definitely strange moving from wc to acrylic lol!

You paint like a watercolorist. While that’s not exactly wrong, it doesn’t do justice to acrylics to be reviewed and judged this way. Maybe you could try gouache instead? It’s in the middle of watercolor and acrylics. Acrylic gouache can be a good starting point.
I totally paint like a watercolorist! XD That is so true lol.. It was really strange going back to acrylics after so long. Definitely a different technique. I did really like these paints though and I've been working with them a lot more lately so hopefully I can give this another shot once I've had more time with them. Gouache is awesome - I really love working with them. Behaves a lot more like watercolor! :)
Beautiful painting of an apple. Very nice review as well. I use Liquitex Basics and hope to work my way up. :)
