I found mine dangling around and took practically the entire front off, including the bumper, radiator cross member, fan etc.and still could not find where it went. Between another UA-cam video and this I am finally able to place it where it belongs. Much appreciated.
Mystery solved!! 🎉😂
Woohoo! My van is famous now! 😂
I knew what it was but didn't know where it went.
Thanks Bill
Better than a Scooby-Doo mystery! Your videos are always excellent!
I had to replace mine last year, Amazon still sold it. Now reading correctly again
I didn't know that thanks for the tip
I’m pretty sure this is the temp sensor that gives you the reading on the dash next to your mileage, can you confirm Bill? If so, I noticed if it starts malfunctioning it can actually change the temperature of the air coming out of the climate control vents. This past weekend it started reading negative temperatures when it was actually like 70 degrees out, and it started pumping heat into the cabin even tho it was set to cold 😢
Yes, it will affect the cabin heat and the fuel-air mix as well as display the outside temp near odometer. IF it displayed negative degrees replace it before it causes bigger trouble. If the dash display went to 3 or 4 dashes I'd suggest checking the wires and connections but with a wrong reading that is still in range I'd skip that and replace the sensor.
@@FloridaVanMan Ah great to know, thanks! I’ll replace it right away and check the status of the wires while I’m at it
