I hope your business grows so fast it's shocking because you guys do great work and make really informative videos. So sick!! Also-- are those wheels plastidipped? I would definitely do that to mine. Perfect color and gloss finish.
So on my 2024 4Runner ORP with KDSS - I just want to lift the front end to be level with the rear. Would it be ideal to install all 4 of these to get as close to manufacturer original positioning? Icon 2" spacers KDSS sway bar correction spacers Dif Drop Spacer Kit DrKDSS BOTCK (Bolt on Trackbar Correction Kit)
You don't really need the trackbar kit because you are not lifting the rear. Also a diff drop is not necessary but some people feel better installing it. The amount it changes the angle of the axles isn't much so it's up to you if you wanna do that or not.
@@yotaxpedition So clarifying, on another video where a similar spacer lift was installed (Maxtrack brand), you did install the diff drop. Was this because the customer requested or because it came with the kit? That spacer kit was 2.5" vs this one at 2". Was this part of the consideration as to the need on that other kit? I realize there is a lot of subjective information out there regarding the need for a diff drop for smaller lifts like this one. Just trying to make the best educated call for our 4Runner. Thank you.
In a previous video you guys did (levelling a silver 4Runner with kdss) you installed a kdss spacer to prevent kdss lean, is there any reason that wasn’t installed here? Is it recommended to have both the spacer and the sway bar correction brackets? Thanks
In that video we installed the spacer from Treaty Oaks. This spacer from dr.kdss essentially does the same thing but in a different way. It also corrects the angle of the bushings where the Treaty Oaks one does not. Dr.kdss sells a separate bracket to go along with the Treaty Oaks brackets to help fix the bushing issue.
Do you have to put the KDSS brackets or can you just run the Icon Leveling kit spacers? Will you damage the KDSS system when just adding the spacers? Thanks
@@yotaxpedition would you happen to know the wheel size this customer was running ? I plan to move on this route with my 4runner but I’m still trying to decide wheels size. 265 vs 275.
@@cruzinthruspace you mean the model that cost $8K more? That's not good math. If you want a Pro then buy a pro. If you buy ORP, then get KDSS with it. Simple.
@@cruzinthruspace The Pro doesn't have KDSS as Toyota understands that Pro Owners are more likely to lift their trucks 3 inches or more. KDSS equipped vehicles are not recommended to lift more than two inches. If you have not tried KDSS don't knock it. Paired with Bilstein 5150 shocks, It corners very, very well with no nose dive and offroad articulation is fantastic - Better than a stock 4runner TRD Pro. I know. I have owned both.
All that work and the owner decides to use junk ass spacers instead of installing real coilovers 😂 🤦🏻♂️… didn’t even need those kdss spacers for such a small front lift either .

I like the detailed work of deburring the cuts and paint to avoid rust. 👌
Perfect video for my 4runner w KDSS. Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
Where can I find the KDSS spacers

what size are the tires?
how hard would it be to do kdss-swaybar conversion
How much did you lift truck?
the product page that the link in the description links to does not include the kdss brackets. Do you sell them on your website?
We still have to add those to our site.
Following. When will you add the complete KDSS Leveling kit?
How often the "leveling" causes problems with the front differential?
Beside the swap bar brackets. Would u suggest the sway bar spacer and dif drop as well? I keep seeing mixed things.
Where are you located?
Lehigh Valley , PA
so when lifting with KDSS, what else are necessary to install beside this?
You can also get spacers for the rear sway bar if you are lifting the rear.
Do you have to put the KDSS brackets or can you just run the Icon Leveling kit spacers? Will you damage the KDSS system when just adding the spacers?

Good video, thank you.

Is the icon leveling kit only for the front? In your video, the rear wasn't lifted correct?
Correct, in this video the rear was stock.

I'm pretty sure these were 265/70 with stock wheels that were powdercoated
@@yotaxpeditiondo you know where the customer got these wheels done? I'd love to do the same.
You guys don’t have the KDSS correction option on your website with the leveling kit.

Roughly $750 for parts and labor.
