Be careful with the 2nd one - your pup might start thinking boxes are OK to chew. They can get confused with what's a toy and what not. The next thing is all your packages shredded on the floor lol
Allowing them to shred things is actually a great way to decrease shredding in the future, since you are providing an outlet for this natural behavior!
@@Outlaw33411 this stinks of ANOTHER Asian psyop, to get americans to hate thier animals, so they can march around telling thier phone apps (that never stop listening) "how much thier pet shreds"... ultimately resulting in Asians replacing Americans in key positions of the economy, because all they do IS BUY AMERICAN DATA!!!! #bublife
They should, with some gentle guidance, learn that when you hand them an object, it's theirs, and everything else is yours, i.e. off limits. But yes, I get what you're saying. It's just part of training them, and training takes a bit of time and effort.
My bottomless beagle would quite literally eat that entire towel and then inspect every other towel around to make sure that he didn't need to eat those too.
@@Felsane 😄 I feel your pain. Once I was re-roofing my shed and I took off my work gloves because it was really hot out and just before throwing them off of the roof I remembered my beagle was in the yard and I stopped, looked around to make sure he wasn't anywhere in sight, and then dropped the gloves to the ground when I saw that I couldn't see hem anywhere. The very instant that they hit the ground the beagle snatched them up at a full run as if he had been already been running by and he disappeared with them. I knew that there was no use to try to climb down and save them
I have the popcorn one! My Pointer loves it! I also use water bottles with treats inside. Just make sure you take the plastic ring off the top, throw the cap away, and cut a small hole towards the bottom as well. Then, put some kibble or treats inside. They like the sound the bottle makes as well. Be careful they don't tear off and swallow any of the plastic, but most don't.
Good video with a couple great suggestions. I don’t recommend letting go dogs chew boxes. My dog does that currently and those boxes have been in warehouses, etc., and I worry about the coating. After I get Amazon boxes my hands itch incessantly.
Ive never had this issue! Hebis allowed to shred boxes and packaging paper we specifically give him, and weve never had him take it out on things he shouldnt. Mught just be lucky with him tho😂
I bought that exact one at Ross. They're plush puzzle toys. You can buy little toys to put inside to add or replace. I have several versions of these for my Pointer. He loves them. It's a pain having to constantly replace them for him, but it's so fun to watch him play with it that I don't mind.
The title does say enrichment which means your ment to hide the treats so the animal has a semi simulation of life in the wild. Toys like Kongs or puzzles are enrichment play as well which makes your brain very active while trying to reach your goal. You know those toys that babies have where you put the cube in the cube hole and the circle in the circle hole? Thats kinda exactly what an enrichment toy is but you get food afterwards!
The smartest dog pretends to be too dumb or precious to get food out of a toy so you give up and just give them the treat and they don’t have to work for it. 😂😂
These are TERRIBLE and possibly DANGEROUS ideas! There are toxic ingredients in the ink and composition of papers and cardboard. The same can be said about towels. This is just stupid! DO NOT GIVE THESE THINGS TO YOUR DOGS!!!

That’s comment doesn’t speak on his point

Yeah i agree and also their stomachs could hurt from swallowing pieces of the carbord

Also got a beagle. Mine ate a whole ass oven mitt. Nothing is safe

😂😂😂
I did the first one with my pit heeler she loved it
i literally just folded it once and made sure my dog can see where and she still will try to bite thru the towel
😂 mine did too but I'm trying it again and again ...u have to allow to make mistakes nd that will get their mind to think
not my dog being scared of tye towel💀💀💀

such a great idea!

For the second one my dogs would just eat the paper
my dog was not entertained by the treats in the towel.. he went to sleep instead lmao
these would work , unless you have a very very "calm" German Shepard
My dog ripped it up
Def will not use the cardboard box. My dog will accidentally ingest.
It's not meant to be an unsupervised activity. But yes, definitely not for every dog.
Dawgies may eat paper in a bid to get the yummies ..just a thought🤔
Mine will for sure , don't think that one is a good idea 🤔
Mine would for sure so won't try that one but the kitchen towel one is a good idea , will definitely try that thanks
Definitely important to supervise!
Actually in my place its winter now😂❤😮
Should be titled how to teach your dog to shred things they shouldn't.
You should teach your dog through gentle guidance and redirection that when you hand them an object, it's theirs, but everything else is of limits.
Ive never had this issue! Hebis allowed to shred boxes and packaging paper we specifically give him, and weve never had him take it out on things he shouldnt. Mught just be lucky with him tho😂
i’ve never had a problem with my pup, she knows what she should and shouldn’t chew
same here!!! have a very well manared little dog, and had no issue introducing these fun activities :D
Aww❤❤❤❤
If my dog liked kibble… 😭
Or this winter while we’re snowed in…ugh….KEEP THESE COMING😊
It doesn't work. At least with my dog. Dry food isn't good for them and doesn't smell enuf for them to really want it.
You could try using other treats that they like!
my dog would rather me feed the treats to him😅
My dog will eat the paper
Song?
my dog chewed through the towel instead of unfurling it dont do it
Where do you find the last kind of toy where you hide treats in? What are they called? I’ve never seen one like that
I've actually seen them in pet stores, for example petsmart! Hope that helps!

The brand is zippy paws!
My dog would eat the box tho
I’ve tried that
My dog just ends up eating the towel😮
Is it really 3 things tho? Or is it just hiding treats?

The 2nd one is not ideal for my dog,he would probably swallow pieces of cardboard lol😂
definitely needs to be supervised, and maybe not the best activity for dogs who will ingest things! 😅
@@NativePet haha then my dog is not the best candidate!!😂
amazing!! Make sure to use a towel that doesn’t have dryer sheet or scent beads used, they have toxic chemicals to dogs
I did the first one but my dogs gave up on it 😅
oh no! you can make it easier by just rolling the towel up but not tying it in a knot
The smartest dog pretends to be too dumb or precious to get food out of a toy so you give up and just give them the treat and they don’t have to work for it. 😂😂
This really helped me thank Q
And then the people get mad because their dog starts to destroy things
Those are not treats 😂… that’s grade A dog food
