I feel that so hard in my soul and I am sad about it. Bring back the darker plot lines please! You asked me for my ranking in your Part of Your World video and I was waiting for this video to do it. (Sorry, this will be a really long comment). For context I'm only going to rank the 16 that I have read. (I hate Nightmare before Christmas so I didn't want to get the book and I am not a fan of the Incredibles so I didn't get Suddenly Super. I'm hoping to get Princess of Thieves for Christmas this year) I'm going to start with my least favourite and move to my favorite.(I don't want this comment to be crazy so I'm just going to rank them with no reasoning. WOW! Our rankings are so different! I know we've talked on some points, so it doesn't surprise me, but at least we agree on the weaker stories lol It's been so fun to re-visit these books for the ranking, and having your engagement throughout has been an extra bit of encouragement for me! I hope Princess of Thieves doesn't disappoint, as cozy as it is. We'll see how Be Prepared stands next!!
I'm so excited to read Be Prepared! I found a website that had the synopsis on it and it sounds amazing! I just hope it lives up to expectations. I like watching your reviews of these! I did notice a wide discrepancy in our rankings lol. To each their own. The funny part is that Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite movie and As Old As Time was the first Twisted Tale I read so it hurt to put it so low. I just thought the top 5 were slightly better. However, I noticed that my list always changes as I reread them. It will likely change in the future. I used to have Part of Your World before Mirror Mirror. I'm torn between the fact that I would pick Mirror Mirror to read before Part of Your World ( the Evil Queen's story is just so good) but the Little Mermaid is my second favorite Disney movie and I have attachment to those characters more
Good news. As an Australian, I actually picked up Be Prepared yesterday. I liked it. Little spoiler: there are a LOT of new Lion characters in the book that aren't referenced anywhere else.
Trust me, it was close, but PUS does feel like a completed circle for me, while there's some more that I want from Unbirthday, and also things that were in there that I would have trimmed down.
