The changes to how a you start a Raid is much appreciated. I didn't like accidentally destroying a banner bearer and now I basically can't go back to my village without triggering a raid. Having some control if you want the boss fight to happen is more akin to other boss fights in minecraft.
Drinking milk would of gotten rid of bad omen
@@ScentSationalLiving yeah but you don’t always have milk available. Meaning you were essentially locked out of a settlement until you found some unless you wanted to trigger the raid.
Not to mention all the times you want bad omen....just not at that exact moment lol this fixes a lot of issues for me
@@gwell2118 bro 99% of the time u have milk available just get a bucket for only 3 iron and find an cow.
@@74tries and you shouldn’t have to need to even do that when every other boss fight is completely optional. And no it is not always 99% especially in some biomes. Thats like saying a sheep is 99% available whenever you need a bed. Besides it was annoying regardless.
I think all recipes for the new blocks (especially the copper bulb) is DEFINITELY something that everyone should know moving into 1.21.

Secretly mojang added dog armor because stampy needed armor for his dogs that would die constantly but then he ended his world so they could release the dog armor without stopping him from needing new dogs

Leadable Boats are Revolutionary and nobody is talking about it.
They allow you to move chest boats, and boats with entities quickly, even on Land. The pain of moving villagers has been eased and nobody (at least to my knowledge) has said Thank you.

Mojang buffed witch farms to make up for nerfing raid farms. even then, you just need to make a pillager farm to get the ominous bottles, and take them to a raid farm.

I started making a raid farm right before hearing about this, so I’ll just afk the outpost and bring a shulker of bottles at a time to the farm. Think it will be pretty nice.
Couldn’t you just place the raid farm above the pillager tower?

idea for a Minecraft server shop:
Step 1 Raid a trial chamber
Step 2 secure it and claim it as your own
Step 3 destroy all but one vault and ominous vault
Step 4 destroy all but one trial spawner and ominous spawner
Step 5 secure these four blocks and prevent others from accessing them
Step 6. Charge some sort of items for a key or ominous key by extension a loot roll for items
Step 7 you now have a Gacha loot box system in Minecraft it’s time to profit
I didn't know that copper grates don't spawn mobs. I already liked how they look but I will definitely be using them more now!

I thought I would be too late and that I'd be falling behind, but this keeps me updated!
If you decide that you want to turn your trial spawners into ominous spawners, when you do that in the middle of a normal trial the regular mobs will despawn and the ominous mobs will start spawning. This is useful because 1. You don’t have to fight the regular mobs anymore so you can focus on the new mobs or 2. If you’re getting low on health and mobs would be normally chasing you, you could drink an ominous bottle and run out of there before the new mobs notice you.
Does the cartographer give you a map to a different trial structure every time or is it the same map every time?
same map each time sadly. its always going to be the closest one to the villager when the villager unlocked the trade
@@wattlesplays So say that Ive managed to unlock the trial map from ya boi, the cartographer, but you've had the world for a while, say you've explored about 10,000 blocks by 10,000 blocks or so, would that map show you a trial structure in an area you havent explored yet?
@@wattlesplaysBtw I found how to get the heavy core 100% of the time if you see the heavy core inside the ominous vault and right click you will get the heavy core

So here's the real question:
Can you boat/minecart/lead an armadillo? Cause there are some hopper setups I would love to try for an autocrafter dog armor.
probably difficult to get them in a boat or minecart, as they roll up in a ball when you approach them. You can however, put a lead on them and they immediately unroll and you can lead them wherever.
@@ryanrathmann8866 does them being in a ball make them less likely to be transportable?

@@Hadeks_Marow not with a lead. once the lead is attached, they unroll and will walk like normal.
I think using armadillos to make armored dogs will help a lot in the trial chambers, especially after you make them ominous, maybe build a dog farm and have an armadillo handy at your base for getting lots of good scute!

@wattlesplays ever since I gotten the Armadillos in my world let me just tell you, I instantly have hoppers in their pens next to my sniffer farms and its priceless. I literally have like over four five stacks probably in my world full of scutes. I used mossy carpets in order for me to keep it natural and I covered up the hoppers with it.
This is literally the only channel I watch to keep up with new updates. You’re so helpful, Wattles. Keep it up!
I dont know weather this comment is useful information but I think everyone should use thier raid farm to get emeralds and totems before 1.21 because we need emeralds to trade for trail chamber to level up the villagers and we need totem for hardcore minecraft

i needed this i found a trial structure under my underground base and had no idea what it was
hERE IS SOMETHING TO TRY:
Jumping off a slime block that is pushed up from a piston will also make you jump very high. It is a timing thing. So, a wind blast added to it, does it stack to make a super jump? Be sure to have elytra so you don't die
The downside is that the ominous bottle breaks current Bedrock raid farms....
I think that can be mitigated by the fact that the banner captains also drop those bottles. My current farm uses a repurposed pillager tower to give myself the Bad Omen effect. Having a continual farm that can supply me with a source of ominous bottles may be slightly better. I can drink 5 bottles at a time to give myself Bad Omen V whenever I want.
@ryanrathmann8866 oh 100%. But at the moment the standard Bedrock design utilizes a trident killer to automatically give you bad omen from the tower captain while AFKing at the raid kill location, so you never have to go back and forth between the sections of the farm. My point is that the farm will be broken as it is intended to be AFK, which it won't be anymore. Doing it the way you suggest will still allow the farm to be used, but not as intended.
If I can brush an armadillo to get a scute what can I do to make a chickne lay an egg 😳😬
It's good to know that the ominous bottle does reset the cool down. I was wondering about this for a while now this question is answered

Important thing to remember: you _will_ get food from ominous spawners EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
My only trouble is, in the anarchy server im on right now, explorer maps dont work, as all structure locations are re-jumbled. So I’ll have to just hunt for them manually, but the only difference between this and the mineshafts is they’ve actually made effort to keep them concealed in caves by stone, so I don’t even have the blessing of just finding them sticking out to my advantage. So all I’ll have is dumb luck going for me…

Trial chamber spawners only work in and near them and also vaults can be open one after another with 2 different players
in bedrock edition 1.20.81, if u have expiraments enabled, go break a pot in the trial chambers. When you break it, it still has the loot, so you can have infinite loot. They patched this bug in a beta/preview, so u have to do it in 1.20.81 or u won’t ever be able to do it again. DO NOT RIGHT CLICK JUST BREAK THE POT

The first one I super good cause you can save the potion til you find a village then do a raid for totems
+ raid farms got improved a lot. Now you can just make a trident killer at pillager outposts and the captains are actualy gona drop omen bottle.all you need to do is just sit there and drink up😂. - now you need to wait 30 more secconds to start a raid. -0.25% efficiency
1.20.5 nerfed the spawn chunks. if you create a new world in 1.21, you only get 3x3 spawn chunks by default instead of 19x19 unless you change it with a gamerule. Much smaller area to build in if you want your auto farms to still run while you are away from spawn.

My theory I made myself is correct.
When you get near the ominous vault, you know how the item inside changes every second or less? Yeah, just wait till the heavy core comes by and immediately use the ominous key on the vault. I got like six maces using that method. Please like this AND TRY IT so that people can see it and use it. :D

I built an armadillo scute farm. I have six in a pen with a mine cart below. Got a stack and a half after only a few hours.

@@wattlesplays The entire point of a game is to present the player with a challenge that they have to overcome.
You take away the challenge part, you take a way the point of it being a game. Why bother going to the nether to get blaze rods when you can just spawn them into your inventory with commands. Because that's the point of game design. You create these challenges to give players objectives.
The objective with the banner heads WERE to take them down in tactful ways. It made them unique. Now you can just be mindless about it and just mash the attack button very braindeadily without any repercussion. Actually, you are now REWARDED for doing so instead of being punished for it. You did less than you did before but get more out of it for doing so. Ya know, like using commands to give yourself infinite loot.
If you take some of the fundimental hardships out of a game, then you are taking the "game" out of the game. Without that, it's just a "sim".

I found a way to get a heavy core guaranteed on my first try. I found one, broke the blocks next to it to see the side of the vault. It kinda shows what is inside the vault and I waited for a heavy core to appear and I used my ominous key and got it. (I think it's rng idk)
what i would like to know is if the villager update (making trades like mending only available in swamp biomes) is part of 1.21 or not. i'm yet to hear an update on this.
Can you comment on how You can now supposedly take mine carts through the nether portal without getting out. I can't figure that out but I know they advertised it in this new update

I still wonder if we're going to be able to get the different levels of the bad omen bottles in bedrock. The reason I ask is because bad omen didn't stack back in bedrock When it was added so i'm hoping that's the case.

There is something that Ive been wondering. With the new potion effects I can see the usages of them and I assume they will also have splash versions, lingering versions and tipped arrows. I see the use for every single possible one , except for infesting. I mean oozing great way of farming slime balls And weaving you can actually use that to Farm string and more webs. It's a self-referential potion ingredient Meaning you use the potion to then get more of the same ingredient. And I suppose the wind bursting would be helpful if you just want to fly into the air without having to have the wind charge But silver fish don't drop anything so why would you need infesting?
Infesting is the only potion I’m interested in for my game 😁
For the fastest slime farm
Farming an allay’s infinite health to spawn a bunch of silverfish then affect all of them with oozing to get slimes.
@Enforc3r but then you wouldn't need the infesting. Like I said everyone of them can be used to get more of the ingredient to make more aside from wind bursting. That one is just helpful if you need a startup when flying the elytra or for your mace to gain extra height and that's cool and all but it's not like silverfish that you spawn help you they just hurt and annoy you. Even Weaving has an added benefit of being able to walk through webs faster. Nothing like that for infesting

So set up a contraption to hurt the allay to spawn more fish then funnel them down to a crowded box hit all of them with oozing to get a slime farm.

But I even saw a bogged spawner later in the video, did you move to an entirely other chamber just to show it? Or did you just make a mistake and just meant to say the room will only have one of each type? Cus its just ridiculous if the entire chamber will only contain one of each…
