I was minutes away from restoring several iMacs and MacBook Pro devices from Time Machine backups. Sunday off!!!!
Simply amazing. Setting the "ask to join" values on iPadOS and iOS devices stopped it from happening on several Ventura systems with zero changes in Ventura!
With either of those enabled, the iOS or iPadOS device shows up as a "hidden network" behind real network

I was having a kernel panic attack every time I tried to add the Bluetooth kexts on Ventura on my Dell Latitude 5500 Laptop, the one thing you did differently was show the order the kexts needed to go in. Now I have Bluetooth working along with WiFi on my laptop.

There is a small problem, the bluetooth signal is weak, it only sees bluetooth signals from a maximum of 5 meters.

Hi, my DELL restarts every time connecting to the wifi, it´s intel dual band wireless AC 8260.
'Almost' worked for me. Wifi is working, but bluetooth isn't. It will turn on for me, and it says that I am discoverable, but the bluetooth symbol in the taskbar is greyed out, with a diagonal line through it. I wonder if I need more or different kexts for my motherboard (ASRock Fatal1ty Z370 Gaming-ITX/ac).

I have a BT4 dongle which sort of works, but only certain devices will connect through it, and the connection is not stable for some reason.

Where did the EFI folder come from? I don't understand anything!
The EFI folder existed when you installed macOS. If you cannot find it, you need to mount in and only then will it appear in Finder.

You don’t have to do it on your desktop.. you can mount your EFi and do it there.. i used my desktop for demonstration purpose

HI. Thanks to your video I installed Ventura 13.3. Can I update by simply downloading version 13.5 from the Apple site? Is there a particular procedure needed to be able to update? I was also able to install wifi and Bluetooth. Now everything works except the ethernet ports. Could you tell me how to install ethernet ports? My motherboard is Asus Z790 proart creator Wi-Fi. you need to go to windows.....then go to disk management then you will see EFI partition of around 100 mb, assign it a drive letter with diskpart then increase the size by extending volume

It’s quite simple. Might be that you have to change some numbers in the boot args, but i will make a video on how to fix sound soon

I tried your fix on a Thinkpad T460s laptop and still not working. The WiFi will enable but it doesn't show any networks. It will sometimes show a quick flicker like it is scanning but still no networks. Any help would be greatly appreciated! An additional note is that the Ethernet is working.

One last thing on this. Apple makes it EXTREMELY difficult to control this.
* You can't REALLY turn off the hotspot feature without completely disabling Cellular Data completely
* You can't REALLY turn off Private Wi-Fi Address and Limit IP Address tracking while on your own network so you can't rely on any features provided by your network or HomeKit
* You can't REALLY set Ask to join Networks to Off
* You can't REALLY set Auto-Join Hotspot to Never
* You can't REALLY set your IP and DNS configuration manually
I say REALLY because sure, you can set them. But they revert to what Apple wants for reason and with no ability to predict or detect when it occurs.
On the latest iOS for an iPhone 13, Cellular On, Personal hot spot off, it still keeps offering that hotspot to Ventura. Tell Ventura not to check and it still does. So you REALLY have ZERO control over this issue.
If you have Ventura and I pull up in front of your house with a crappy hotspot, you're hosed and it'll take you forever to figure out why.
