As nice is an s65 is and sounds I like that you kept the same powerplant. The n54 is such a beast motor and s65s even supercharge won’t have as much power.
The carbon roof would be fire!!

Love seeing a great example of a n54, and a genuine reaction of falling in love with how the car should have come from factory.
They tried that on n55 but was a failure then S55, and B58 as a game changer to N54 successor. If N54 came single turbo factory and no issues they would still continue to make N54 with different versions like B58.

This is awesome keep it up I single turbo my car not too long ago and I never looked back. Different feel for sure. U should do a dyno like this, then dyno it on meth 26 psi is what they gonna tell u then with port injection like 31/2 psi

interesting comment on the st coilovers, I had the stx's on an/a f10 and i found them to be very comfortable/soft, much heavier car maybe?.. differnt planet than the Öhlins youll be fitting of course, 😊...nice video👍

Man that's awesome. My b58 flowmax ds25 tune is frustrating the hell out of me. I just wanna be able to send it. Tried smoke leak tests and 3 intakes. Looks like I'm driving conservatively to bimmer invasion

@ThicWhips seems to be fuel trims. It's making and holding good boost. Finicky with fueling.
@ThicWhips plus I gave the turbo a good shake before I installed it and no bits of metal fell off it... 😭🤣😂🤣

I have a 135i with a spider web in one of my headlights ... the weirdest thing ever ..anyway great build thicwhips can't wait to see dyno numbers once tuned

Curious what your thoughts are on the Recaro fia vs Abe seats. Looks like you have both sets?
FIA are track seats. They fit tighter and aren’t intended for street use. In fact I think they are technically illegal for street use, could be wrong. But I don’t really fit in them, they are tiny. ABE is much more adult and normal person friendly

The carbon roof is worth it. Sunroofs suck. And theyre not that expensive. Like $1500 or whatever.
That car came out awesome ! Near perfect already. However, may I suggest a phone-cradle ? Just a little investment but so much more safety a easy visibility while driving 😉. Seeing you fumbling around with a phone while driving looks rather risky….

Aren’t you suppose to remove traction control completely to send to the tuner? Traction control on just takes away power.
Absolutely, carbon roof. With the body shop adding real M rear quarters, just go for it, carbon roof at same time.
