I love all Franz Ferdinand songs ! And the voice of Kapranos is so hot ! Beautiful 😍 one of my best!
So interestingly, this arrangement of the song is only ever performed live, the version on the album Tonight: Franz Ferdinand is very different

The instrumental break/outro is great here. Can’t stop dancing! Scottish bands and artists are usually very good (Annie Lennox, AC/DC, Simple Minds, Texas, KT Tunstall, Garbage, just to name a few). This one is no exception.

That extended musical section is a part of the same track on the CD when it came out. I consider it to be part of the same song. I'm a prog listener, so it isn't a big jump for me. They're very explorative, so I wouldn't doubt them on the track listing. Probably why the full song was never a single. I think this was definitely meant to be a big live improvised act that is different every time, a la Grateful Dead. They have a shorter version on a greatest hits album that is recorded completely differently in more a garage rock style that is really, really cool. It's on the album Hits to the Head.
