Mike I’m a nurse at an endoscopy center. I’m so glad that you went, they found the polyps, and you got them out! I see so many patients that wait too long and their polyps turn into cancer. Keep going back every 2-3 years to get checked 😊
I had one done recently. They found a couple polyps, but nothing cancerous. They said I do have Diverticulitis. I had no idea and never even heard of it. Reading up on it, I hope I don’t have the complications I see some people have🙏. My next colonoscopy isn’t for six years(53 years old). And thanks for being a nurse!!💙

Put a ring on that woman's finger man, she's your rock, your best friend, and everything else. She's always proven that she's gonna be there for you and do what she can to help you be the best you that you can be, and I know you're super appreciative of it. I've watched you guys for...years. Since Trailwood...and I can honestly say you guys feel like friends/family to me. I'm so glad Bridgette convinced you to get a Colonoscopy. UA-cam would feel foreign if this channel stopped uploading. I still miss Angry Grandpa every day, but knowing your channel is still here after all these years is a great comfort.
I am so glad you did this Michael, my neighbour recently passed away and he had colon cancer, i’m not sure if the colon cancer was the cause of his death but I know he had it, he was over 80 years old but I still don’t want this to happen to you Mike, love you man

Hey Michael, I’ve been watching you ever since trailwood and have been a loyal fan all My life. Recently, I’ve won a hard fought battle with stage 3 Hodgkin’s lymphoma and living my best life yet. Cancer is no joke, it took everything for me to keep my hopes up and was probably the hardest thing I’ve had to face yet in my life. I really appreciate the content both you and and Bridgette create and the advice you give to people. Stay strong brother!

Polyps are never a guarantee of cancer though
I developed Ulcerative Colitis 6 years ago (I had to get surgery to remove my colon) and I myself had a few polyps, though thankfully were all negative

I’ve been here sense grandpa lived in the trailer, I’ve seen you get him that house, you really are a amazing person, son, dad and boyfriend, I’m so proud of you mike, you did so good you have 2 beautiful children. I think it was a calling from god to get that done, Ik you don’t believe in god, but I think he wants you to go the path you was talking about, you’re children and Bridgett need you. So happy for you both! We have to be grateful for every day! Also I had that at 21 and it really is like 8-10 hours of going to the bathroom. I literally just stayed in the bathroom the whole time. It was for sure the hardest part. Glad you got through this!

Hey Michael! I'm a longtime fan and I've watched your videos since the trailwood days. I recently was told that I had to get a colonoscopy as well. I also had some rectal bleeding and one thing I'm terrified about is being put to sleep. Everyone says it's not a big deal and you'll wake up quick but It's just one of those things I was so scared to do. I also have 3 kids of my own 12, 5, and 2. two girls and one boy. This video helped so much on what to expect and gave me the confidence to face my fears. I'm only 31 years old and no one in the family had ever had colon cancer but it's good to check just in case. I hope that one day I can speak to you and hear your experience. Thanks for all the great videos and I look forward to commenting on here again with an update that everything went well. Thanks again!

Man, this brings me back to what happened to me. And although I’m happy that it all went smoothly, it’s still a big shock to me.
When I was 20, I was having this excruciating pain. At first, I thought it was that time of the month, but for some reason, the pain was only on the right side. My parents were concerned too, but we all thought this was nothing. I took some over the counter pills, and sucked it up, hoping it would go away, but it didn’t. It was so painful that not only I was slightly hunching over because it hurt trying to stand up straight, but I started losing my appetite.
I was able to sleep, it was just getting up that was painful.
After four days of this, we finally realized that something was wrong. We called our local clinic nearby to have a practitioner look at me, and they accepted me right away. After some thorough examination, and describing to her what I was going through, she tells me and my mom that I had appendicitis. She then tells us how serious this was, and we had to go to the hospital.
So we went back home, made sure our dogs and cats were taken care of, and went straight to the hospital.
After waiting in the waiting room, we were finally called in, and they gave us a room. The doctor said the same thing as the practitioner, but still, from what I could remember, at first they did an MRI, but didn’t see anything. But when they put me through the CAT scan, they found something else.
In me, was a cyst, or a tumor, about 13cm. The doctor says that it HAD to come out. My mom was so broken-hearted at this, because I have been through plenty of foot surgeries. She was tired of me suffering. I couldn’t even believe this either.
Now, I won’t explain my experience of my stay in the hospital. All I can say though, is that in the end, I met up with the surgeon who performed surgery on me, and she explained that she did manage to handle the appendicitis.
She also told me that as soon as she removed the tumor with a robot, she sent it off to the lab, and what she told me, made my heart drop.
Inside that cyst/tumor, was filled with cancer cells. And I have also discovered that it was growing from my right ovary, so now I have only one.
I also want to point out, that some doctors were amazed, saying how I was able to hold onto it for a long time. I asked them what they mean by that, and they say that women come in with a cyst in them about 2cm. I wonder how I was able to hold onto it. They said it wasn’t because of my weight.
I’m 27 now, and all I can think about is that if I didn’t have appendicitis, I would’ve never found out about what was growing inside of me.
What if I was in an accident? They told me that the cyst/tumor was really soft, as in if you poke a needle into it, boom. And if that exploded in me, I don’t think I would be here.

I'm 25 years old and recently just had my first because of some issues I was having and thankfully it all came back good as of now. Mike my best friend died at the age of 45 last year from colone cancer and I wish he had done what you did but it was to late. His road with Colone cancer was the worst I ever witnessed. Thank God you got checked. We love you Mike and thank you to your beautiful Bridget for pushing you to do it.

I go in next month for a colonoscopy and i'm only 36, i've been hit twice now with Diverticulitis, and need to get looked at. I hope they don't find anything crazy, but if they do I will come back to this channel find this comment and report on it. Nothing is more scarier then finding out you could of had something cancerous, something that puts a time limit on your life. I believe you are more stronger now then you were before the check up.
