Nah, Klein's been done justice this season, he got scenes that audiences will care for this time around, much like his OS screentime, seeing how important his friends are for the guy.
To be fair about the cut of Higa wondering whether they had created something greater than they had anticipated based on Eugeo using the Blue Rose sword to connect to Kirito's fluctlight, this was already kind of brought up a few episodes ago where (I think) Higa said to Kikuoka and Rinko that it seemed like they had something more on their hands than drone pilots, followed up with Higa's inner monologue stating that Kirito had already known this.
japanese people dont like to "show off" romance. They dont kiss or hold hands in public. So in that scene, it kinda made sense that they didnt kiss. But we will definetly get one soon
Honestly, the end where Kirito got there with his arms crossed with Takiguri and Amayori to his side(timestamp: 23:59) reminded me a lot of Naruto when he came back to the Leaf Village with Sage Mode lol maybe it's just me.

The Kiss scene was valuable imo because it slowed things down a bit. The episode on the other hand was pretty fast paced. 3:50 Bruh, I think even the fan translation got that one right. Also, an issue of mine that I didn't see others talk about is the scene where Tiese prays to Eugeo. Felt more emotional to me in the LN.

I loved this episode it was amazing kirito using the blu rose sword turning the ice into flowers and kirito using the Night Sky Sword suction ability to absorb all the ice Rose's with energy and hp and finally transform into his sao appearance this moment was animated and adapted beautifully

kii kii Spoilers: The only kiss they ever had in Alicization was at the start and in the part where they were flying towards Alice. There was never another mention of a kiss in the epilogue. A-1 is most likely moving the kiss scene when Asuna stays back which I think is a more fitting spot for their kiss. Though, I did wish they kept the scene where Kirito dropped Asuna mid flight lol.

They don't have memories of their owner. I've talked about it plenty of times in previous Explained episodes, but if you missed them, it's basically that the swords have properties of their own pasts. Deusolbert's bow was a pheonix, Bercouli's was a clock, Kirito's was Gigas Cedar, Eugeo's was the rose embedded in ice. But when Eugeo fused with the Blue Rose Sword, he actively became a part of the swords memory.

Relating to the tree transformation scene, how did Kirito know that his fluctlight has been connected to the main visualizer, and so Kirito can overwrite the memory of the Night Sky Blade into PoH's avatar? How was Kirito so sure that PoH can be turned into a tree and thus can't log out of the underworld? Did Kirito know of his recovery operation done by Higa in the real world? Also I don't see Eugene anywhere in the shot before Kirito's fight with PoH. Maybe I have misunderstood, another brief explanation for this will be appreciated. Spoilers! I think they're waiting until Alice escapes and Kirito and Asuna realized they're stuck in Underworld for them to kiss. I wonder how it's going to show that Eugeo burns the last of his memory to save Kirito as well. Hopefully Gabe getting dragged to hell isn't butchered either.
Kirito and Asuna already had a kiss scene during the very first episode of SAO Alicization. Would’ve been nice to see them kiss after finally reuniting with each other. But I say that it was a reasonable decision for them to cut out that scene since Alice was still in danger in the meantime.
MR.NULLLLL So, Reki tweeted that the scene was cut coz they thought its a gag scene and in the heat of the moment since its war they cut it yet, they choose to include the original part were the girls were fighting over Kirito and telling stories which is also a gag scene that was included in the middle of a war .. point is if u planned to cut it then you should have cut the other scene as well. to me its not about the kiss its about Kirito remembering how he got there in the first place, ppl needed to see some inner monologue from him since he awoke and between battles as the main charechtor. At this point i just feel they're trying to trigger the fans for some reason!
NULLLLLLLL!! I really liked this episode and this fight and the next were some of my favorite in the WoU arc. I really liked how the end of it was the picture from the light novel but wished the coat was a little looser like in the novels but that may just be me.
It's bothers me when they cut out Kirito's Sword Skills such as *《Skill Connect》* and *《Deadly Sins》* I was expecting those until it got suddenly become *《Vorpal Strike》*

Yellow Eyes is an Anime Original concept that is usually used when Kirito is pushing Incarnation to its limits. They do not exist in the Light Novels at all. Sadly, even the Anime itself is very inconsistent with the Yellow Eyes, with it showing sometimes and even disappearing in continuous shots for no reason like Kirito vs Quinella fight for example.
Ahem. Mr. Abyss himself: NULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL That's probably enough. Looks like my guess was right on how far they'd adapt. I assume next episode will be entirely Jesus-kun vs Mr. Null, or half the episode will go to Niemon's underwater adventure and the other half will be the fight. Maybe they'll splice the two scenes together? (I really hope that's the case.)
Speaking of cuts. I'm currently rereading V18 here just to see what the anime skipped and to also refresh my memory. After how badly I saw the anime adapt Vassago's Origin and seeing what it also cut out from Kirito's Nightmare I'm still kind of worried in my head about what else the anime might skip or adapt poorly in future episodes.
See, this is why I gave up on reading the LN's entirely all the way back in Human Empire Arc... I dropped the books after finishing _Alicization Turning_ because I didn't want to suffer from knowing ahead of time on what shit A-1 changed.

It was a pretty decent episode but I can already see the haters bashing Kirito for the cuts the anime made, like why the resources made from the Blue Rose Sword's memory release can't be absorbed by Mate Chopper or how Kirito turned PoH into a tree (the latter one had even me thinking it was an asspull but it makes sense if it was something Kirito could do while being connected to the Main Visualizer). Speaking of which, it sucks that they skipped the part where Higa connects Kirito to the Main Visualizer as that's part of why his Incarnation is so strong. I can already hear the haters screeching "See, Kirito is too OP. Tension ruined since we know he's gonna win." That last part of what they might say is stupid as you can make that argument with ANY protagonist, not just Kirito. Besides, Kirito's struggles are more mental than physical and he's almost always needed help from others in order to win, like his fight with Death Gun or Quinella. He would have lost those fights had Sinon and Eugeo not interfered.

I was thinking and I want to know your opinion on this, if Quinella had a metal barrier around herself, and Eugeo and Kirito got lucky that there swords had no metal, could it be a possibility that when Quinella forged some of the divine objects (that were once organic creatures or plants) could she have used some metal arts so that they wouldn't get passed her barrier if a knight ever attacked her or something? 2. If someone were to cut down Tree PoH and turn it into a divine object, would it have the same abilities as the Night Sky Sword since he turned into a tree by Kirito using the memories of the Night Sky Sword? 3. Does the night sky sword have 2 abilities as part of it's memory release as when Kirito first uses it, it absorbs resources to heal Kirito but during the fight with Gabriel Miller it absorbed resources again but unleashed an attack similar to it's enhance armament phase?
Anime made it too dramatic with Kirito appearing like Thor. They both approached gracefully "like stars falling from the sky" and Asuna slowly made it to the ground.

We also know that Kirito (aka Star King) and Asuna (aka Star Queen) were immortal [Stika and Laura's scene]. But unfortunately Ronye and Tiese have passed away. And this part is really confusing me. That knowledge might have been lost with Administrator's death, but couldn't they 'freeze' their life as Bercouli did? (Maybe Kiroto learnt about freezing life) They might have refused [Eugeo is dead etc.] In Vol 19-20 they have already become Integrity Knights. Also what about the other Integrity Knights? They weren''t brought to Real World, so that means they are already dead? On the other hand their Fluctlight cubes might have been completely filled. [Extra IFs questions] We also dont know how much time has passed after Star King and Queen left Underworld. So what do you think? Would they be still alive? If Kirito had access to Ocean Turtle would he be able to save them? Sorry if my grammar was bad. I know that those questions are based on IFs, but im really curious. Have a nice day!
#AskGamerturk there was something bugging me a few episodes back and now this episode too , I remember at the beginning of war of the underworld , gabriel said that what happens in the underworld can't be written to any media, yet later on we see that Moonphase and the other Korean and Chinese players were sent a video of American players and Japanese players fighting, and if it is possible to see what happens in underworld wouldn't critter just log vassago out when he sees him turned into a tree ?
The video shown was of the Seed layer, the normal virtual world made up of polygons, the same layer those logging in with Amusphere see. What can't be written into any media is the Main Visualizer layer, the photorealistic virtual world made up entirely of mnemonic data, the world the people of Underworld and those logged in with an STL see.
Light Novels were quite clear about the two arriving as "two stars coming down" where one (Asuna) came towards the ground slowly, the other (Kirito) stopped right in between Alice and Gabriel. So Kirito didn't arrive solo like Thor.

Actually kirito was flying with Asuna and kirito zoomed like a comet before appearing in front of Alice and the dragons. My question is where did Asuna go ????. The anime just portrayed the scene saying kirito and Asuna will fly together to save Alice but she went missing in the end scene. What happened to her????

The only kiss they ever had in Alicization was at the start and in the part where they were flying towards Alice. There was never another mention of a kiss in the epilogue. A-1 is most likely moving the kiss scene when Asuna stays back which I think is a more fitting spot for their kiss. Though, I did wish they kept the scene where Kirito dropped Asuna mid flight lol.

They don't have memories of their owner. I've talked about it plenty of times in previous Explained episodes, but if you missed them, it's basically that the swords have properties of their own pasts. Deusolbert's bow was a pheonix, Bercouli's was a clock, Kirito's was Gigas Cedar, Eugeo's was the rose embedded in ice. But when Eugeo fused with the Blue Rose Sword, he actively became a part of the swords memory.
@@Gamerturk so .. to short it out eugeo's blue rose sword is a bit different because it was fused with eugeo before so the sword contain 'memory' of eugeo?
I wouldn't even consider it "different" per se. Just an additional point where something is added to the memory of the sword itself. But yeah.

Relating to the tree transformation scene, how did Kirito know that his fluctlight has been connected to the main visualizer, and so Kirito can overwrite the memory of the Night Sky Blade into PoH's avatar? How was Kirito so sure that PoH can be turned into a tree and thus can't log out of the underworld? Did Kirito know of his recovery operation done by Higa in the real world?
Also I don't see Eugene anywhere in the shot before Kirito's fight with PoH.
Maybe I have misunderstood, another brief explanation for this will be appreciated.

I think they're waiting until Alice escapes and Kirito and Asuna realized they're stuck in Underworld for them to kiss.
I wonder how it's going to show that Eugeo burns the last of his memory to save Kirito as well.

Kirito and Asuna already had a kiss scene during the very first episode of SAO Alicization. Would’ve been nice to see them kiss after finally reuniting with each other. But I say that it was a reasonable decision for them to cut out that scene since Alice was still in danger in the meantime.
The part where Kirito almost drop Asuna was not included.

So, Reki tweeted that the scene was cut coz they thought its a gag scene and in the heat of the moment since its war they cut it yet, they choose to include the original part were the girls were fighting over Kirito and telling stories which is also a gag scene that was included in the middle of a war .. point is if u planned to cut it then you should have cut the other scene as well. to me its not about the kiss its about Kirito remembering how he got there in the first place, ppl needed to see some inner monologue from him since he awoke and between battles as the main charechtor. At this point i just feel they're trying to trigger the fans for some reason!

I really liked this episode and this fight and the next were some of my favorite in the WoU arc. I really liked how the end of it was the picture from the light novel but wished the coat was a little looser like in the novels but that may just be me.
It's bothers me when they cut out Kirito's Sword Skills such as *《Skill Connect》* and *《Deadly Sins》* I was expecting those until it got suddenly become *《Vorpal Strike》*

Yellow Eyes is an Anime Original concept that is usually used when Kirito is pushing Incarnation to its limits. They do not exist in the Light Novels at all. Sadly, even the Anime itself is very inconsistent with the Yellow Eyes, with it showing sometimes and even disappearing in continuous shots for no reason like Kirito vs Quinella fight for example.

Speaking of cuts. I'm currently rereading V18 here just to see what the anime skipped and to also refresh my memory. After how badly I saw the anime adapt Vassago's Origin and seeing what it also cut out from Kirito's Nightmare I'm still kind of worried in my head about what else the anime might skip or adapt poorly in future episodes.
See, this is why I gave up on reading the LN's entirely all the way back in Human Empire Arc... I dropped the books after finishing _Alicization Turning_ because I didn't want to suffer from knowing ahead of time on what shit A-1 changed.

It was a pretty decent episode but I can already see the haters bashing Kirito for the cuts the anime made, like why the resources made from the Blue Rose Sword's memory release can't be absorbed by Mate Chopper or how Kirito turned PoH into a tree (the latter one had even me thinking it was an asspull but it makes sense if it was something Kirito could do while being connected to the Main Visualizer). Speaking of which, it sucks that they skipped the part where Higa connects Kirito to the Main Visualizer as that's part of why his Incarnation is so strong. I can already hear the haters screeching "See, Kirito is too OP. Tension ruined since we know he's gonna win."
That last part of what they might say is stupid as you can make that argument with ANY protagonist, not just Kirito. Besides, Kirito's struggles are more mental than physical and he's almost always needed help from others in order to win, like his fight with Death Gun or Quinella. He would have lost those fights had Sinon and Eugeo not interfered.

I was thinking and I want to know your opinion on this, if Quinella had a metal barrier around herself, and Eugeo and Kirito got lucky that there swords had no metal, could it be a possibility that when Quinella forged some of the divine objects (that were once organic creatures or plants) could she have used some metal arts so that they wouldn't get passed her barrier if a knight ever attacked her or something?
2. If someone were to cut down Tree PoH and turn it into a divine object, would it have the same abilities as the Night Sky Sword since he turned into a tree by Kirito using the memories of the Night Sky Sword?
3. Does the night sky sword have 2 abilities as part of it's memory release as when Kirito first uses it, it absorbs resources to heal Kirito but during the fight with Gabriel Miller it absorbed resources again but unleashed an attack similar to it's enhance armament phase?

Anime made it too dramatic with Kirito appearing like Thor. They both approached gracefully "like stars falling from the sky" and Asuna slowly made it to the ground.

At some point in Vol 18 we learn that Kirito and Asuna have spent ~160 years in the Underworld.
We also know that Kirito (aka Star King) and Asuna (aka Star Queen) were immortal [Stika and Laura's scene].
But unfortunately Ronye and Tiese have passed away. And this part is really confusing me.
That knowledge might have been lost with Administrator's death, but couldn't they 'freeze' their life as Bercouli did? (Maybe Kiroto learnt about freezing life)
They might have refused [Eugeo is dead etc.] In Vol 19-20 they have already become Integrity Knights.
Also what about the other Integrity Knights? They weren''t brought to Real World, so that means they are already dead?
On the other hand their Fluctlight cubes might have been completely filled.

#AskGamerturk there was something bugging me a few episodes back and now this episode too , I remember at the beginning of war of the underworld , gabriel said that what happens in the underworld can't be written to any media, yet later on we see that Moonphase and the other Korean and Chinese players were sent a video of American players and Japanese players fighting, and if it is possible to see what happens in underworld wouldn't critter just log vassago out when he sees him turned into a tree ?
The video shown was of the Seed layer, the normal virtual world made up of polygons, the same layer those logging in with Amusphere see. What can't be written into any media is the Main Visualizer layer, the photorealistic virtual world made up entirely of mnemonic data, the world the people of Underworld and those logged in with an STL see.

Light Novels were quite clear about the two arriving as "two stars coming down" where one (Asuna) came towards the ground slowly, the other (Kirito) stopped right in between Alice and Gabriel. So Kirito didn't arrive solo like Thor.

I don't understand how Subtilizer die when he got hit by the Starbust Stream, and then out of nowhere, he wake up in the Ocean Turtle, meet his childhood friend, she gone creepy and pull him into some sort of black hole?
I think that the Ocean Turtle bit happened in Gabriel's head and he died from a panic attack but that's just my interpretation.
