My dearest wife of 52 years passed on 8 yrs. ago. I hired a Bagpiper to play this tune Going Home during the funeral and as the family gathered around her Memorial to lay her ashes to rest. Thank you for the video.
My best friend had cancer she passed away last year I know that I feel sad or I feel emotional sometimes but I will remember our good times thank you Karen for how much you got me through my hard times I will not give up I will keep on going
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. And helping so many of us. The minstrel boy is also a very good instructional video.

Good tutorial! Thanks so much
I learned it as Dvorak’s version. We used to sing “long short long, long short long, long short long, short long.”
Very helpful, thank you!!!
Excellent for me to learn the grace notes/Dean in Placerville
Nice playing
Great way of singing what do you sing for a 4/4
Is circular breathing easy on bagpipes? Is there a good resistance?
Circular breathing is not necessary on bagpipes, that's why there is a bag. Some people do it with the practice chanter, but it's not necessary for students to learn.
This is more commonly used at funerals of the fire department and police department
