Wall street guys never felt inflation. So, what they only care is, no matter what they say about "consumer still spends..blar blar", they NEED lower rate to pump their assets up. That's it.
We’re in need of a rate cut, badly. The fed is just weeding out whoever can’t last through it is how it seems. Oil & gas is as high as it is because of everything happening overseas, we cut the sanctions for Russia & they cut ours, now the Saudi’s want to raise the price of theirs. We’re in the longest period of inflation since the early 90’s that’s not something to boast about.

If the Fed does end up lowering interest rates, despite today’s CPI, than that’s definitely a politically motivated rate cut.
