Hey guys this touches my heart and makes me feel sad 😢 My folks took my sister and me camping here as kids every year and it’s was amazing. It cost just £2 per night per tent and was this price forever! The owner, Mrs Dutton, became a lovely family friend and lived by herself in the lower part of the castle. She passed away a few years ago. The camp toilets and showers were built into the castle walls and fun to use although a little creepy in the evenings 👻 and there was a Sunday market up in the main castle every week ☺️ lovely video which has brought back memories for me. Oh and it’s simply pronounced ‘grick’ castle 👍🏼
Aww that sounds well fun I wish I could camp there, sounds like an amazing experience you had, weve heard that apparently it's meant to be getting refurbished into a hotel, not sure if you know whether this is happening or not but if that's the case we definately will be staying there, thank you for your support

I remember going passed them stables when they had horses in them and just passed the stocks was where they had the jousting and I remember going down the grand stair case when I was a kid
I had no idea this was the I’m a celeb camp until about August/September 2020 ...and the Uk wasn’t hit by Corona until about February/March 2020 ...yet this was posted in October 2019 ???
