    So proud to have been a 'test pilot' for this fantastic innovation. My old mate Warren Mitchell OAM really came up with the 'goods' way back in 1969, Avalon Beach Surf Cl;ub. The concept of the "Rubber Duckie" is utilized word wide, here in Australia the State Emergency Service incorporate this rescue platform in flood rescue, I am still associated as a trainer and assessor in flood boat procedure, (bit less than I used to be), regards John Farley.

    Not to take away anything away from the great development work in NSW, but ignores the developments by Ocean Grove's Bob Millett from 1969 through the 1970s. Testing of multiple craft, first use of self drainers and also the first prototype of a fully enclosed prop guard made by Ocean Grove's Daryl Barnett.
