Imagine if the vikings existed during Khalid ibn al walid RA time, they would be slaughtered

I will dare you on that one. But the battles were different. Islam fought on land, Cavalry. Vikings were master of Sea, landing into areas. Also, they kind of were same era... Islam started 600-700 Viking great age was 700-1000

@@Doug.Dimmadome Mate, the Vikings didn't plunder cities and scare Europe by fighting in the sea. Now i will admit, they were by far the most experienced and seasoned fighters of the sea, and they were also decent in plundering land, which even the Germanic tribes of Europe themselves admitted to, but with Khalid Ibn Al Walid R.A, he was the most feared in all of Arabia, he was a revered fighter in his Pagan tribe of the Quraish, and he was singlehandedly responsible for weakening the Byzantine Empire with the Muslim army, and for the destruction of the Sassanid Empire.
If we are going by physical metrics, which most people do when they mention Vikings, the Arabs of that time were way larger than arabs of today, example: Umar Ibn Al Khattab R.A was reported to be 7'1, he was so tall in fact, even the demons themselves were scared of his shadow. Now obviously, not everyone were that huge, but the arabs back then were over 6ft tall and were bred for war from early childhood, hence why the Umayyads in Seville showed no mercy and hung the captured Vikings in the palm trees of Talyata, and only spared the Vikings who willingly converted to Islam. The muslims back then were very unhinged when it came to sparing pagans, given what happened last time they tried to reason with them, and since the Vikings were pagans, they were brutally slaughtered for their invasion.
" Vikings were master of Sea" No doubt about it, but if they can't perform well on land, you can't call them warriors.

@@Doug.Dimmadome True, Vikings were skilfull sailors. But let's not forget that they actually DID fight the Muslims in al-Andalus. :D At first, the Muslims were taken off guard, and a few coastal cities fell to the Vikings. But then the Caliph, I think it was Abdul Rahman II, fought back. He defeated the Vikings on the coast as well as in the sea (near Al-Andalus). Then he sailed a fleet to Denmark, as the story tells, and the Viking king made peace with him, and the Caliph brought back the Muslim prisoners.
