Hi Elliot! Anytime you want to try something out, but don’t want to destroy what you have, you can click Shift + O to switch to the art board tool, then option-drag it to the side. This is a quick way of duplicating your art board. That way you can always go back to old versions of the design if you decide that you liked them better.

Just FYI, at 23:10 you don't actually have to re-write the copy, illustrator has a built in way of changing the case. That is, (from the top menu) Type > Change Case > Lower Case. It's a lifesaver honestly lmao

when you want to change the scale of a text box, you can convert it to point type by double-clicking the little round diddle sticking out the right side of the text box. by default, the text tool creates an area type object, where if you use the selection tool to adjust the size it won't affect the type size. point type makes the text scale editable with the selection tool.
