I keep loving what you do. I also love the patience and dedication that the video reflects about your work. Please let me tell you that every drawing or painting, is a sketch until it becomes a masterpiece. I am not sure, but. Did I see some asymmetries en two of your drawings or is it the camera angle? Do you normally use a mirror for double checking the symmetry of your drawing, during the process? By the way. I love the art of Leyendecker, Norman Rockwell’s as well. I would make a suggestion. I am not sure, but I am pretty confident to say that copying Gustav Klimt can help you out on practicing abstract drawing and getting a deeper understanding of form simplification. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 nice video!
@@walden3565 thanks so much for kind your feedback and advice! 😊🙏 I never use mirrors in drawing so curious to learn more about that. Will definitely look into that 🙂 Love Rockwell and Klimt! I was actually about to draw Klimt's sketch of a reclining young man's head as part of the challenge but changed my mind last minute. Definitely plan to study his work soon 🙂
@@ammardraws Kelp on doing it. Next video with Klimt 😉 For me drawing is like a mystical experience. The drive to do it is totally irrational, sometimes frustrating, but so satisfying many times. Your videos reflect your passion and commitment. Now it is more and more important to lead us to make masterpieces in the future. I mea, they can be simple pencil drawings, but with that kind of sensitivity behind. The other approaches are only images. In the past when Leyendecker painted a cover magazine it was for commercial use but there was a sense of Art behind, that has made his paintings going beyond temporary use. I am from Spain. I highly recommend you to take a look at the drawings of Antonio López García. Not the paintings themselves, but the collection of drawings. You will be able to see the smoothness of the value transitions. Same case for some of the body skin representation in Klimt’s paintings. The are so subtle… far away from needing to make contrast.
